After using the roaster only once, the liner was very difficult to clean. I noticed the rim of the liner showed signs of rust. I returned the item to Amazon. Upon going to the Nesco website, I learned you can purchase a better quality liner for an additional $18. That would be OK if I were using the oringinal liner for a couple of years, but not after only one use. Love the cooker itself, poor quality on the liner.

I love this roaster. I have used it just about everyday since I received it. I had one previously, but the lid was aluminum. The lid discolored badly and the paint started melting off. I had emailed the company about getting a glass replacement lid for it but I had no response. So I went ahead and purchased another with a glass lid. I have no complaints about the new one so far.

This is a versatile kitchen appliance. I can use it as a slow cook or and extra oven. I have done both and love it. We have a small wall oven and this cooker helps free up the oven. A great 2 in 1 appliance.

It cooks great and heats up fast. the only thing i didn't like was that it was to have a glass cover and we got a metal one other than that it is a great unit

I DON'T THINK THE ITEM I RECIEVED WAS THE SAME ITEM THAT I ORDERED.IT DIDN'T HAVE A GLASS COVER AND WASN'T STAINLESS STEEL.SOMEONE MIGHT HAVE EXCHANGED THE ONE THAT I ORDERED WITH AN OLDER MODEL.I WAS NOT SATISFIED AND WILL NOT ORDER AGAIN FROM AMAZON.

The liner became very difficult to clean after 2 uses. Oil sprays, adding water to the bottom, and other things that usually work in other pans does not work with this oven.

Save energy with this smaller cooker rather than using your stove. Perfect size for a whole chicken or pot roast.

The Nesco 6 quart Roaster/Slow Cooker is ideal for all your small cooking needs. Using this roaster has allowed my wife to reduce the use of the large oven in our stove saving us money on our utility bills. The Roaster does a fantastic job on everything we use it for. This item is a valuable asset to our kitchen appliances.

I received a product different from what I had ordered. I returned it the very next day on Nov.23, 2011. As of this date, today, Dec. 18, 2011, I have not received a reimbursement. I got a verbal notice, because I made a phone call, that the returned item had been received on Nov. 30, 2011. I was very disappointed that the item I ordered, Nesco 4816-25PRG Stainless Steel Roaster Oven with Glass Cover, Porcelain Cookwell did not come in.

I am currently waiting for a reimbursement.

The picture looks good but when I got it, it was so cheaply made I doubt if Big Lots would stoop so low to sell it.

Got it during the holiday rush so haven't had time to send back. I don't even want to try to use it. I'm sure after 1 use there will be burnt stuff that can't be scraped off. It is not a quality item...even brand new it looks bad. After the shipping and taxes I could have bought a larger Rival nice looking roaster, they really gouge you on shipping. Pleasee don't waste your money.
