I'm really glad that I ordered a few more of these trays when I ordered my dehydrator, because I use them all the time! I love the machine and having the extra space really helps. Likely I will order more. The machine works perfectly and quickly even with the addition of the extra shelves (I make homemade beef jerky for people and chicken jerky for cats - to sell). If I put them in hot soapy water, give them a spin with my hands so all surfaces get wet, and then use a fairly stiff dishwashing brush, they are easy to clean too. Recommended if you get the dehydrator - get a couple of extras of these!

If you already own the wonderful Nesco food dehydrator, then this is your next logical and sensible purchase. You might as well be able to produce more of your favorite dried food in one process. For me, I like to make a lot of beef jerky at once. The added trays make it possible to dry four pounds of ground sirloin in five hours. The trays are exact duplicates of what you are now using. Just be certain of your Nesco's model number pryor to ordering this useful addition to you machine.

I'm glad that I spent the few extra dollars to get these trays. I would not even consider buying any Nesco dehydrator without getting the extra trays, even if you do not have plans to use them right away, you will need them before you realize it. Remember that these trays lock together when you stack them, just spin them clockwise until they stop. This was something that I did not pick up on in the instructions and found out by accident. Happy drying!

I have had this dehydrator for years and it is great. This is the second set of added trays I have purchased and the machine still functions very well with many trays. Saves time having the extras. I use 10 trays with no issues. I recommend that you turn over (flip) the items you are drying after the tops begin to get dry. This will speed up the process of dehydrating and make it more even.

Only four of these Nesco American Harvest Trays came with my Nesco FD1020 Gardenmaster Dehydrator. I was only able to make 1.5 pounds of beef jerky strips with four trays. Since my dehydrator can dry 20 trays of food, I knew I had to buy more. If you only need two of these, by all means get it from Amazon. However, if you need a dozen to increase your dehydrator's capacity (like I did when I first bought my FD1020), check out Sears online. You can get a 12-pack for under ninety dollars. That's about seven dollars and fifty cents each tray. You'll be a lot happier with your dehydrator's capacity!

Nothing to complain about here. We ordered two sets of these and they let us dry a bunch more stuff all at once.

Purchased the Garden Master 1050, 1000watt dehumidifier. The 4 trays that come with it are a joke. Got this add-a-tray and was able to do almost 7 pounds of venison jerky in 7 hours. Time to buy a few more trays.

My American Harvest Gardenmaster orginally had only four trays but with the addition of four more trays I'm able to dehydrate more produce each week. These are must haves if you use your dehydrator regularly. They're real timesavers!

Well built item. I have no complaints. I did buy the wrong size, but that wasn't the fault of the product. Amazon was good about taking them back.

I originally bought my dehydrator in 1990 and it is still going strong. As the years have went by I've added trays and this year will be no different. Since the thing will hold so many trays at a time I am still not at maximum capasity yet.I figure if this one finally gives up the ghost someday I'll just replace it with the current pro model and just use the same trays I already own. This is a wonderful product and I'd tell anyone that it is well worth the money. Look at it as an investment. I'm down to where the dehydrator has cost me dollars per year.
