Most dry milk tastes pretty dry after its reconstituted :-) nido still has the fat in it, and a load of usable protein, so it makes a great backup for real whole milk, for survival, for your nuke shelter , or just cause your to lasy to go to the store and buy a gallon :-).

I use it specifically to make a Cocoa mix that isnt using "partially hydroginated vegtiable oil" whatever that is.

Shelf time is not as long as dry milks or cocoas, but the taste difference is all the difference in the world.

While I have never tried this product as a "Glass Of Milk" type of product, I have been using it for many years with tea and coffee. Nido is the standard for all dry milk products in Europe, Asia, and Africa. I am glad it is available in the USA!

I cannot stand the taste of whole milk but I can drink Nido. Nido is now available in Walmart in the Latino food section.

I just discovered this product a couple days ago, and I am not the least bit surprised at how well it has been received. I bought it to put in coffee, in case I ran out of fresh milk or soymilk.

I cannot tell the difference! It is enriched with vitamins and minerals, and the children's version is even better enriched with significant amounts of 19 vitamins and minerals, with a little more sugar and less fat.

One caveat- this product is NOT fat-free, as Amazon.com states here. That would be too good to be true!

I keep my Nido in the cupboard right next to the K-cups(coffee)and honey in my cupboard. What could be simpler?

I came across this one time in my mom's cupboard when I ran out of milk and needed it for a recipe. I whipped some up and had some left over, so I decided to drink it. It tasted GREAT...just like milk!!! I drink it regularly now. It mixes/dissolves so easily and is so much more convenient than milk since it won't spoil!!

I had this milk nearly every day for two years while living in Chile. It is very delicious, much better than the non-fat stuff sold here in the states. I found that adding a little bit of sugar really made it great.

I use Nido instead of buying whole milk at the store. I only make what I need, and the taste is very close to whole milk. No need to waste milk, have it turn to cottage cheese in the fridge, or take off for a few days, and have to chug a gallon to get it gone before I leave...

This product makes the best yogurt. I have a Salton yogurt maker and use a wide mouth quart jar instead of the plastic insert. I warm up the Salton, fill the jar about 3/4ths full with the hottest water that comes out of the tap. Add a cup of this Nido whole milk and stir it up. Pour a little back out in a cup and mix in 1/4 cup of commercial plain yogurt and pour it back into the jar. Put jar lid on and cover the Salton. 4 hours later I have a quart of delicious thick yogurt. Just pop that jar in the frig. I like not having to heat milk on the stove.
