This book tells what following Christ really means., July 13, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Nests Above the Abyss: (Paperback)
A rare view of Lisuland told by a missionary who was one of the first to bring the gospel to the people there. Time frame is the 1930's and those who received Christ carried the word to others at the cost of their lives. Beautifully written and informative to those who are hungry for the truth of what has gone on before us. Isobel Kuhn was one of the great ones.

Missionary adventures with the Lisu Indians in western China, October 7, 2002
This review is from: Nests Above the Abyss: (Paperback)
Isobel Kuhn writes of her experiences with the Lisu Indians as a missionary with China Inland Mission. It was heartbreaking to read of so many Lisu Indians who died of cancer or of some other disease. And at such young ages. But it was inspiring to read of how sold out they were for Jesus Christ. As I read the book, I almost felt like I was right there on the mission field. Good reading!
