Tom Clancy was the author of eighteen #1 New York Times-bestselling novels. His first effort, The Hunt for Red October, sold briskly as a result of rave reviews, then catapulted onto the bestseller list after President Ronald Reagan pronounced it the perfect yarn. Clancy was the undisputed master at blending exceptional realism and authenticity, intricate plotting, and razor-sharp suspense. Clancy's Net Force Explorer series just keeps getting better. Shadow of Honor deals with a rivalry between two students that turns ugly. Clancy once again maintains a good balance between VR (virtual reality) and RW (real world) settings. This addition to his growing young adult series features creative technology, stirring emotional sequences, as well as fast-paced chase scenes. Definately recommended for young and old Clancy fans alike.

Another interesting book in the Net Force Explorers saga. I think there are 19 books in all in the series. They are interesting, but the reader needs to be up on his/her understanding of computers. Understand that this series is set in the future and computers are capable of things not yet built into them in 2013. Probably tomorrow though!
The book was received as described by the seller and I surprised at how fast I received it.

I have enjoyed all the Net Force books and this one just adds to the list. The writers who have taken over for Tom Clancy are doing a great job of mimicking his writing. I was told they worked with him on some of his other books so they know his style. And it shows!!
