Wanted to let anyone know that might be looking to buy this system. When my kids logged on last week a message popped up saying the server is not being serviced by Hasbro after Dec 2009. I even said that Hasbro couldn't guarantee that the games and system would work after that point.

I titled this Careful when opening the packaging bcuz the plastic packaging is a challenge to get open and the sharp edges of the plastic slice right through you like razors. I sliced open my finger getting it open. When I got it open ... Instructions are pretty simple : Turn on Computer - Plug it in - Put in a Game Key - Start playing ! I really liked the Bubble Bonanza game. I purchased this game along with Kool Kart, Marble Blast XP, Mission Paintball, and Peak Performance. I recommend those games if you're over 13 cuz the rest of the games are more aimed towards kids under 13 like the Spongebob game and Fosters imaginary friend game. The graphics are awesome on the games and the controls are pretty simple. I hope they come out with more games and some that are Multi-player or even upgrades to the Paintball and Super Soaker game to make it Multi-player like Counter Strike. All in All this toy is awesome !! NET JET is the BEST YET !!!

I purchased this for my 11 year old son, and he really enjoys it. He has even been showing his 6 year old brother how to play. You need to have a high speed hook-up to the internet though in order to play this game. We tried it before we got high speed and it wouldn't work at all. Now it instantly comes on the screen and works just fine.

Bought the Net Jet originally as a gift with the expectation of getting a few games and simple product ($25 what would you expect?).
When plugging the product into my computer the product launched quickly and easily launched the game (Mission Paintball) which was fun. The best part was that I could then try out all the other games and find which ones is most exciting for my family. Kool Kart and snowboarding game were the most exciting - I like them as they are basically Xbox quality games.
The device is online which is not a bad idea if you have more content coming (which I guess they are planning on). Hope they add multiplayer functionality soon so that we can play with friends over the internet.

If you are a game or toy collector then the netjet is fine to keep in the box unopened. If you are buying it to play with it, it is now useless and will not work. The software built in the controller installs to a PC like it should, BUT the servers it connects to are no longer running and it can not be used because ALL GAME KEYS authorize the software on your computer to download the game for that key from the servers that no longer exists. Even if you previously owned this game controller, and bought games keys, and download the game for them, it still can not be used because the controller must connect to the severs before it will allow you to view the game screen to play the games.

DONT BUY IT FOR SOMEONE FOR CHRISTMAS THAT IS GOING TO WANT TO PLAY GAMES ON IT

Not nearly as much fun as my daughter thought it would be, and the website you HAVE to use for this is being discontinued on Dec 31st. DON"T BUY THIS!!!!

Game is no longer supported by Hasbro. It does *not* work without accessing their servers and their servers are no longer working as of DEC 31, 2009. Do not buy this or you will be receiving an item that is not usable.

my son loves this game system...taught him alot with the computer as well as eye hand coordination...alot of fun too

This game was great when it worked, but is completely useless now as the online interface you play it with is no longer in existance... YOU CANNOT PLAY!!! I can't believe that Amazon or any other retailer is still selling these - if you purchase it think of it like a play phone - except a play gaming remote - it doesn't work anything, but it has neat buttons!
