I'd bet if it did, it would say so. so I'd guess no.

No telling what the future might hold with a firmware update though

It does not currently. A firmware fix could be done, I suppose, but supposedly Panasonic has only said that future models will support Netflix.

Yes Richard, and that's very disappointing. Wii will enable Netflix in April, without requiring any added purchases. Others have done the same. Panasonic is making us buy new models. I was planning to marry my Panny BD60 to a new Panny TV. No longer. I just ordered Roku, and will get a Vizio. I have a smaller 32 Vizio and it's great. Bye Bye Panny. One less customer to screw.

Shame on you Panasonic for no Netflix support for the DMP-BD70V, ...great concept, great machine, disturbing myopic business decision.

Yay for the info on the Wii having Netflix! Thanks for sharing. Now I can get this product knowing Netflix will soon be available to me in another way :) I'm excited based on the reviews of this. I previously tried a Samsung Blu-Ray and all I can say is I will never buy Samsung for anything ever again.

Went to Sams, they had a sony for $150 that does Netflix. Walmart had it for $128 at one display and $199 somewhere else, probably the $199 was right. No way I'm buying this one with no netflix.
