Each car has one to three pages of text dedicated to the story of not only that particular car, but the manufacturer and the automotive landscape. Great read for those interested in the history of the automobile!

I have been priveledged to visit the collection on many occasions since 1971 and the book covers the best of the best. The cars are all currently registered and driven around the San Fernando Valley all the time. If unable to go there, then the book takes the place.

Dennis Adler is one of the great automotive photographers, and writes text to match. Put him together with the incredible collection lovingly assembled by B J Nethercutt and the results are one of the great car books. This is basically a coffee-table book, but it's a terrific gift for any car lover. (If you're a car lover and don't have anyone to give you a copy, buy it for yourself. You won't be sorry!)

My husband saw the book at the museum and didn't want to buy it for himself. Bought it for him for his birthday and he was very happy with it!! Includes the cars and the musical instruments that make this museum special.

The Nethercutt Collection: The Cars of San Sylmar (Hardcover). What is so different is that these cars run. Each year they are driven on the streets of Los Angeles. Yet, they are so clean that it looks like these are never moved.
