"She writes so many novels! Are they any good?" The answer is... YES!!

Welcome to Medieval England - hard-core, battle-scarred, power-driven alpha knights of the highest Norman order and the women who love them. Like High Middle Ages action and romance? Welcome to the Le Veque Medieval Machine.

Kathryn's Medieval Historicals have been called 'detailed', 'highly romantic', and 'character-rich'. She crafts great adventures of love, battles, passion, and romance in the High Middle Ages. More than that, she writes for both women AND men - an unusual crossover for a romance author - and Kathryn has many male readers who enjoy her stories because of the male perspective, the action, and the adventure.

OMG! Let yourself be carried away by Kathryn Le Veque new fantastic story NETHERWORLD! I am overwhelmed with emotion!
It's an amazing medieval tale...that will sweep you away! It's filled with all kinds of emotion - sadness and joy - that will make you cry or laugh depending which scenes you are reading. A must-read for all historical lovers and fans of Ms. Le Veque's brave Knight's amorous adventures! She has woven a tale worthy of her talent and style of writing by offering a medieval adventure with rich characters! I loved her main characters Sir Keller de Poyer, an English knight, Chrystobel, a Welsh woman, and her sister, Izlyn. Ms. Le Veque nicely blended her personages into this high impact adventure filled with danger and intrigue! I am a huge Fan of this author and she never disappoints me.
Keller had always been known for his fairness and respect, but over time, he became a man with little emotion and was awkward with people. Chrystobel was living at Nether Castle with her sister Izlyn, her brother Gryffyn, and their father. This castle was holding dark secrets surrounding this family, so when Keller meets his future bride, he has a strange feeling that something is terribly wrong and the residents are quite terrified and threaten by something. Will he discover what is evil at Nether Castle? Why are the people terrified? Will Keller be able to protect them? If you love a story filled with lots of emotions that will make you remember the ways of life of women during medieval times, I highly recommend NETHERWORLD!

A Terrific NEW BEGINNING!

I loved this book! The story of the strong, introverted, and heartbroken knight Sir Keller de Poyer and the beautiful Lady Chrystobel was an emotional tale of two people who had experienced life's disappointments and even terrors, only to find a new beginning with each other. Keller was gifted a castle and lands, by his liege, William Marshall, and a contracted marriage to Chrystobel. Although not excited about the marriage, his feelings began to change as soon as he met the sweet young woman. But alas, evil and intrigue are afoot at the Castle of Nether in the form of Chrystobel's dark hearted brother, Gryffyn, who has different plans for everyone, and his plans do NOT include a HEA.
This is an enthralling plot with battles, and twists, and terrific characters. There are a group of knights, a lll intertwined from previous stories, who join Keller in the tale to overcome adversity and attempt to win the day. I had a terrific time reading this, in one sitting I might add, and would highly recommend it to everyone- it's one of her VERY BEST!

What can I say, another classic from KLV - I had part read this in her Collection of Beginnings and it was every bit as good as I knew it was going to be. In fact I would be more than happy if ALL of the novels were eventually published if this is the standard that was in the Collection. It's a sleepless night when I know a new book is about to be released and then another sleepless night reading the books as I can't wait to get to the end and then am disappointed my thrill has gone when I am finished...until the next publication - although there is alwasy re-reading them over and over again!!!. I await your next installment....

What can I say...but another great read by Kathryn Le Veque! I love how she connects the characters from her other stories. The only problem I have with this is that I get distracted while reading because I'm trying to remember what story the knight is from! So, on to my review...Chrystobel (don't you just love her name!) is at first skittish and weak because of years of abuse at the hands of her brother, but once she learns to trust Keller, she is humorous and flirty. Keller is standoffish and shy because of an unrequited love interest but soon learns to open up to Chrystobel. The villain, Gryffyn, is Chrystobel's brother, and trust me when I say he's pure evil. Chrystobel's little sister, Izlyn, is adorable once she realizes the English knights aren't going to abuse her. Throw in sword fights, Welsh rebels, deception, murder, and of course some sex, and you have a must read!!
I'm going to end this with a line from the love letter that Keller wrote for Chrystobel: "I see the magic of a new beginning with you."

If you are looking for an emotional journey, search no more. Kathryn Le Veque has created a truly emotional masterpiece in "Netherworld". You will find yourself laughing, crying, sitting on the edge of your seat demanding justice and cheering on the knights on their quest to provide that justice. Le Veque has brought a truly vile bad guy to life in Gryffyn d'Einen. You will absolutely love to hate this man. And while he IS the bad guy, you will anxiously await his appearances in the novel. But the bad guy is just the beginning. You are going to be enchanted with our heroine, Chrystobel, and even more so with her little sister Izlyn. The journey of love and hope between Keller and Chrystobel is dynamic and thrilling. The interaction between Izlyn and Keller's knights is even better. This novel is an action packed story of love and you simply won't be able to put it down!
