About the Author

Warren Jefferson is a writer, photographer, and graphic designer. As a long time partner in Book Publishing Company he lends his photography and design skills to many of their books on health and diet, vegetarianism, green living and Native American titles.

He is also the author of Colloidal Silver Today, The World of Chief Seattle, and Reincarnation Beliefs of North American Indians. Warren and his wife Barbara have four children and, are founding members of an intentional community called The Farm, dedicated to ecology, vegetarianism, natural childbirth, and nonviolence in Summertown, Tennessee.

Warren works as a graphic designer, photographer, and research writer for the Book Publishing Company, which specializes in vegetarian cookbooks, alternative health, and Native American culture. He has edited and worked on numerous publications on a variety of subjects. He has has a keen interest in Native American history and culture since first reading Black Elk Speaks in the late 60s. Warren and his wife Barbara have four children and five grandchildren. They live in an intentional community called The Farm in rural Tennessee with their Jack Russell Terrier Max.

This little book is the perfect companion to beginning Nasal Sinus Irrigation (NSI) with the neti pot. Many people, including me, saw Dr. Oz and Oprah discussing the neti pot, but only so much information can be given in a short segment of a television show. This book takes NSI to the next step and is what you want to read before you start to use a neti pot.

I think it's very important to know what you're doing before you begin to stick things or pour fluids up your nasal passages. This book gives you everything you need to know in a short format (I read the book in an hour) that is easy to understand, and comprehensive. It covers: methods for using the neti pot, symptoms that respond to the neti post, a history of neti pot use, the relationship between the neti pot and meditation, medical resources, everything an average person would want to know about the nose and the sinuses to use the neti pot effectively, the danger triangle of the face, nose blowing (yes, there is more to learn about this!), how to properly make the irrigation fluid, drying techniques after cleansing, natural additives for the neti pot, problems with water flow when doing neti, and much more.

I was very, very glad that I read this book before my neti pot arrived. Highly recommended.

Gee, a really terrific little book that explains things about your nose and sinuses that most of us never even thought about...One thing I did learn from reading this book is that the nose is one important organ. The section on the use of the Neti Pot was also informative, explaining it's history, use and ties with Yoga etc. The book is only 93 pages, so it is a fast read. This really should be the only book you will need on your nose and the Neti Pot. Enjoy...
