The wildlife designs in this book deserve five stars, these designs depict a collection of five animal habitats from the safari, air, forest, polar region to the ocean. These are no cartoon-like cute pictures. The images are realistically lifelike but still retain that artistic quality. Some animals included in this book are foxes, eagles, baby turtles, bear cubs, whale, lemurs and much more.

Beautiful Well Done Pictures. The animals leap out at you in finished projects. The author is a true artist. The added drawing of the animals Make this book all the more enjoyable. You will find animals from all over the world to stitch, (or bead) I looked for a long time before I found a DOE to use in my craft and she is beautiful. This book is a keeper and a great gift to an animal lover who likes to stitch.

Based on sensitive, life-like animal portraits, these designs are breath-takingly lovely. Jayne presents lots of ideas for using the designs as well as charts for modern samplers. My favourites are the baby-turtles and lemurs designs, although there is enough in the book to keep me motivated for a long time. The charts use both colours and symbols and so are straight-forward to follow even though there is quite sophisticated shading. This book well-deserves 5 stars, wonderful designs and beautiful presentation.

The book has so much variety. I wish I could make all the charts at one go. So many ideas are forming.

If you like to cross-stich but are tired of "grandma" patterns, this is the book for you. So many great patterns and many that can be modifies to use in a contemporary home!
