5.0 out of 5 stars Great Reference for the Busy Clinician, September 29, 2010
As a practicing physician in internal medicine, Netter's Cardiology provides a concise approach to the patient with cardiovascular disease. Beyond the informative illustrations from Dr. Netter and his successors, the book combines the current underlying pathophysiology of disease processes, approaches to diagnosis, and procedural aspects of patient care. Input comes from adult and pediatric cardiologists, radiologists, surgeons, and other relevant specialists. The multi-disciplined approach manifests itself as alongside the illustrations are images from echocardiograms, EKGs, ultrasounds, stress tests, angiography, cardiac magnetic resonance, and cardiac computed tomography. Algorithms and high-yield information are set out in the text helping the clinician in a time crunch. This book has created a great blend of text, illustrations, images, and figures. The online access at [...] provides the images for teaching students and residents. I found the site easy to use. Not only do my patients benefit from this book, but I enjoy sitting down and taking the book in.

1.0 out of 5 stars No online access information for "Online Access", August 23, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Netter's Cardiology, Book and Online Access - Only the "Book" part is accurate. The "Online Access" part is misleading. The inside insert will allow you to scratch off the code, but there is no online access information whatsoever. The code is useless. Even searching the website of the publisher leaves you helpless. Your may try to contact the publisher through e-mail. Good luck with receiving a timely response. The 800 number allows you to speak to someone who can only take your information (without any helpful response) with a promise that someone will get back to you with-in 24 hours. I am returning this item. Hopefully they remember to include the Access Information in the future.
