Great for Physical therapists,

This review is from: Netter's Concise Atlas of Orthopaedic Anatomy (Netter Basic Science) (Paperback)
This is a great, small book that can be used for quick reference when working with orthopedic patients. The pictures are small but it is not meant as a true anatomical atlas. It includes some nice x-rays, plenty of common pathological conditions and a few quick tests.

Great images loose value when miniaturized.,

It is frustrating and sad to see Dr. Netter's art being miniaturized.
The book should be sold together with a microscope.

Great Quick Reference for Surgical Reps,

This review is from: Netter's Concise Atlas of Orthopaedic Anatomy (Netter Basic Science) (Paperback)
I'm a surgical rep and this book has served as very nice desk guide for numerous years in my office now. Netter's Illustrations are phenomenal as always! Scope of content leaves some to be desired. Also this is a rather small reference in size, not the typical 'Large' anatomy illustrations Netter's is commonly recognized for.

I work in Urgent Care. The book's concept is excellent. I have used the book for minor orthopedic complaints such as sprains and strains, and found it wanting. It's good for more serious injuries; having the anatomy right there for you is invaluable.

Netter's Concise Atlas of Orthopaedic Anatomy (Netter Clinical Science)
This is an excellent resource! I use it every day. I am a physician assistant student and purchased this book prior to beginning my orthopaedic rotation. I am so glad that I did! It is a great quick reference for those that are still learning and I am sure that it will continue to be useful when I enter practice.

Great Pocket Reference,

I really appreciated having this pocket reference during my orthopedic rotation and highly recommend it to all. In the OR, I reviewed anatomy for the upcoming case with it. In the clinic, I used it to look up orthopedic complaints and their management. There is more information on one page of this book than there are on 10 pages of typewritten text because of the wealth of information in the pairing of one of Dr. Netter's illustrations and one of Dr. Thompson's charts. This book should not be used as a learning text; instead, it is most valuable as a quick reference for someone already familiar with orthopedics.

Great quick reference book!,
This review is from: Netter's Concise Atlas of Orthopaedic Anatomy (Netter Basic Science) (Paperback)
I work in an emergency room and it's great to use as reference and use to while looking at xrays for normal vs abnormal. I sometimes forget names of bones and looking at this book makes talking to radiologist a breeze and they are impressed when you know what you are talking about.

Dr Netter is awesome and I know several have complained about his work being reduced to something so small, but overall this book is an excellent quick reference. Especially useful for residents going through their ortho rotations. I love it!
