The publishers are also to be commended for the obvious financial investment they have made to produce such a resource. The placement of a table of contents at the beginning of each chapter and the inclusion of some embryology of organ systems are valuable additions. I would rate this book among the top five I have reviewed over the last 15 years and I am comfortable in stating that I know of no other comparative text of the same quality.
