good, but use with the Network+ study guide by David Groth,
This review is from: Network+ Exam Cram (Paperback)
This exam cram is really useful, especially if you take note of the warnings and test alerts listed throughout each chapter. the exam covers alot of information, and the alerts help point you to what is important for the exam. The study questions are good, but I doubt I would have passed if I didn't purchase the study guide by David groth. If you go through his book as well and do the questions after each chapter you will pass. I got 91% on my first try. Knowing the questions is just as important as knowing the material.

Excellent Study Guide,
This review is from: Network+ Exam Cram (Paperback)
If you have any knowledge of netwoking this book should be all you need to become a certified network technician. It has an excellent sample test and a cram sheet that is extremely helpful. I passed with a 92% the first time using this book alone. I give it an A+ and highly recommend it for anyone interested in taking this exam.

Great Book for Exam Prep,
By Kenneth Echols (Nesbit, MS USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Network+ Exam Cram (Paperback)
Although I have some networking experience and an AS degree in I/T with a concentration in Networking, I read this book in about a week and a half and passed the test the first time. I highly recommend this book for beginners in the I/T industry or for those highly technical people who want this certification. My next ones will be A+, i-Net+, and then the big MSCE for W2K.

Network+ Exam Cram,
This review is from: Network+ Exam Cram (Paperback)
Very informative, very helpful book. You do need to have a basic understanding of networking to use this book though. Also, found four or five mistakes in the book, a couple on cabling, at one point they refer to SPX as connectionless ( wrong, connection-oriented ) and at least one answer to a chapter practice question wrong. ( Chapter 6, question 7, on IRQ's.). Other than that, it definitely helped me pass the test, got a 97%. I also used the Network+ Studt Guide from Sybex.

Great Review for Passing the Network + Certification,
This review is from: Network+ Exam Cram (Paperback)
Guys, I used this book only to study for the Network+ Certification and Passed! This book is great. It covers about 90% of the exam and has a pullout cram sheet that is the best! The only downfall about this book is that it didn't cover really much unix questions. The test had at least 4-5 questions. Know lmhost? for Unix. But this book makes the material easy to read and easy to learn. If I had to do again, I would definitly go this route. Enjoy!

Helped to Organize all the Information,
By Michael Miller (Minot, ND) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Network+ Exam Cram (Paperback)
I was glad I had purchased this book to study for my Network+ Exam. I passed with an 89%, but I am afraid that without it I would have had a lot lower score. It helped me to get things organized and the cram sheet was a big help. I had a few questions, about 5, though on Unix and there wasn't much mentioned in the book about Unix. Along with the Exam Cram "Network+ Prep Tests" I felt I was prepared for the test. I'll buy more of the Exam Cram series for my next tests.

I read this book and passed the next day.,
By JEFFREY D GLIEVER (Saratoga USA) - See all my reviews

Exam Cram's Network+ really helped me pass the N+ exam. The test taking strategies and warnings on trick questions were great, and I found the practice exams helped me alot. Yes, there were a couple practice exam typos, but that helped me drill down and get a greater understanding on those questions.

Only book that I needed to pass Comptia's Network+ exam. In my opinion, Exam Cram is the most condensed and affordable resource for any and all certifications. Good luck on the test.

Absolutely will make you a Network+ certified!,
This review is from: Network+ Exam Cram (Paperback)
If you're an experienced network administrator, read this book to refresh your memory before taking the Network+ exam. Some of the practise test questions will appear somewhere in the real exam. It will guarantee you to pass!If you're a beginner in networking, you'd better combine it with the Network+ Study Guide also from the same publisher. You'll get your Network+ as well as good understanding of network administration after that! I myself like reading so I took both and passed the exam by 95%! (CCNA, Network+, MCP, MCSE+Internet, MCDBA)

More proof that Exam Cram is all you need,
By Doesn't Matter (New York City, NY) - See all my reviews

Once again I was able to use the Exam Cram as my primary source for studying, and I was not let down. This was the perfect review, and really all you need. If you are still unsure after using this book then you may want to pick up the Sybex Exam Notes. The Network+ exam is a low, entry-level certification and to be quite frank one that should not require much time to review for. A day or two with this book and you should be good to go to ace this test. This book covers everything that is on the test and does so quite well. Exam Cram has proven to be the best source test after test, regardless of what you are testing for. I've always had great success, and I intend to continue using these books.
