I used this book for a CCNA1 networking class. It was the required lab book. Overall, it was fine. It consisted of various review questions as well as hands-on lab activities. The only negative was that there were several occurrences where the activity instructions were not clear at all, and if it weren't for the lab workers, we'd never know what we were supposed to do!

Fast and prompt service. Book arrived in perfect condition. Purchased new as per my teachers instructions. wrapped in plastic and comes with required cd.

though, it doesn't exactly go along with the textbook as it should. Sometimes you have to read between the lines, and make it work. It would have helped to have the same authors for both books.

This book was required for a college course and it was half the price of the college bookstore. I received it the next day.

Is was not what i was expected but it is useful to practice the exercises

I believe the CCNA exam was thoroughly revamped in Nov, 2008, after this book was written. Has anyone read this book and taken the new test? I am leery of buying this as it may be outdated. Can anyone confirm/deny?

The book is not written for the lay person. You need a solid computer background to understand the book.

I bought this book to complement the intro to networking for cisco, which is the first portion of the cisco academy's 4 part setup. It seems to help but I'm not sure by how much. I'll know more or have a better review after I complete the class.

Great help for class at a greatly reduced rate than my bookstore. Excellent condition. Wonderful transaction.

the text books were in better condition than it was rated. basically brand new. they arrived a couple days sooner than expected.
