I agree 100% with the last review. I'm also a top producer for my network marketing company.

Network Marketing is about building relationships. If there is one secret to success, relationship building is it. If you want to learn how to go about this business without turning people off (like 97% of people in this business do), you need this book.

Michael's book is a simple introduction to the art of sponsoring.

The approach he recommends is all about "caring and sharing" and the emphasis is about what your prospects want, and not about what YOU want.

Note: This MLM book may NOT appeal to the more sophisticated Heavy Hitters.

I agree 100% with the last review. I'm also a top producer for my network marketing company.

Network Marketing is about building relationships. If there is one secret to success, relationship building is it. If you want to learn how to go about this business without turning people off (like 97% of people in this business do), you need this book.

Most beginners are reluctant to truly dialogue because they don't want any "rejection", or fear rejection. This book helps make it possible for you to eliminate that fear, NOT get rejected, and build a successful, and stable network marketing business that lasts.

This book is based on ... you think about helping OTHERS get what they want FIRST, then you'll what YOU want. You will learn NON-manipulative methods that will create real trust between you and your potential partner.

I recommend this book as one of the first books you buy in network marketing.

The principles Michael Oliver shares in his book, "How To Sell Network Marketing Without Fear, Anxiety, or Loosing Your Friends!" is as important to opening the flood gates of abundance in one's Network Marketing career as are the principles of the Bible in releasing one's fullest potential. In my 20 years in Network Marketing, both as a top income-earning distributor and corporate executive providing services to 1000's of MLM distributors, if there were a single book I would recommend getting into the hands of every Network Marketer in the world, it would be this book. In recommending Michael's book, I often tell my friends and business associates, "If you were my child asking me for advice on how to succeed in Network Marketing, my last words would be, 'Invest in Michael Oliver's book!'" If you want to change lives, build a huge organization, and attract to yourself not only financial abundance, but spiritual abundance as well, order this book, study, and apply its principles!

Michael Oliver's approach is so natural, and it makes total sense. It is easy to adopt his methods because they are natural and caring ways to find out what people are looking for. It's not about what YOU want, it's about what THEY want.

Like it or not, Network Marketing has a dubious reputation. All too often it is accompanied with too much hype and self-serving pitches that over promise. Being a skeptic and imbued with a sense of hard work since young, I was quick to reject Network Marketing.

Michael Oliver's book "How to Sell Network Marketing without Fear,Anxiety & Losing Your Friends" was instrumental in turning my views around. He presents Natural Selling as a philosophy of helping people solve their problems, rather than a set of techniques. With this new mindset, the network marketer becomes a problem solver (not a salesman), helping the prospects discover where they came from, where they are today and where they want to go. The network marketer no longer asks manipulative questions to get the answers he longs to hear. Rather, the objective of Natural Selling is for both the network marketer and the prospect to come to a conclusion, whether the network marketing solution will solve the prospects' problem. For the network marketer, this approach not only removes the fear & anxiety of rejection (that comes with selling) but it also helps build a stable organization, simply because people know what they are in for.

In summary, Michael Oliver presented a view of Network Marketing that was compatible with my values. I highly recommend this book to people who are contemplating Network Marketing or who are simply not comfortable with the traditional sales tactics. I am glad I found a better way to run my network marketing business.

I wished I had read this book before I burned through my original warm market. From this book I have realized that my problem over the past year has been my discomfort at using the approach taught in most network companies, which is more of just asking people to try or come listen to a presentation without taking the time to find out if there is a need. For some, this approach works. However, what about everyone else who wants to succeed and the only approach taught doesn't work for them? This may be the book to help them. When you have fear and discomfort inside, it comes out, no matter how much you try to hide it. With this book, I finally have a way of communicating with people that feels like I'm helping people, and that alone has lifted a huge weight off of my shoulders. I now have the confidence that I can build a business by helping others, and my colleagues have noticed the change in me. That alone shows when I talk to people. I now look forward to going out and seeing who I can help each day. I highly recommend his Dialogue CDs as well.

If you are looking for to build your network marketing business to highest level, that is the tool that you need. The "blood" of your business is prospecting, isn't?. Network Marketing is a "high contact" business (by the way, I think any business is a "high contact sport"), so to building it you have to play it mostly body to body, in reality person to person.And if you mayor concern is what to say, how to say and how to find "partners" (building yourm downline), that book explain how to do all that without fear , anxiety and rejection. Almost others books in network marketing talk about how to improve your self-steem, how to be positive, how to belief in your business and products. Ok, all of these are good stuff for your business, but when your are face to face with your "prospect partner" , to him doesn't matter if you have goals, if you are positive, if you have high self-steem. For him, the importance is, what is in your business that be benefical in your prospect life.It is HOW you comunicate with him, that skyrocket your business. THIS book say it how to do that witout fear and anxiety, what to say, what NOT to say, what would be your attitude to your prospect, all of these points mean the "heart and blood" of your business.
If you are serious about build your business, you MUST buy that book.
By the way, I carry it with me all the time because anytime is time to do business and with that book you learn how to can do business all time without fear.

I was a bit skeptical when I bought this book, but NO LONGER. Oliver's method makes perfect sense, and really does take out the fear of rejection completely. For a "rational" engineer like me, it opened my eyes to understand the skills that my wife has been born with, and is helping me in many other settings besides sharing my XanGo business. And it all is based on the law of sowing and reaping, ingeniously understood and applied.

I give this book at least 6 stars...

I love "really good" books. As a Financial Advisor and a Business Consultant, I consume a ton of books and do a lot of research and due dilligence for my clients.

Network Marketing - As a Home Biz Coach and a Network Marketing professional (for over 20-years), I have also studied many books, audios, videos, CDs, DVDs on - and taken many courses about - the Network Marketing industry. Despite its critics (and I used to be one) - it's a business model that I greatly respect - and when 'worked correctly' according to the 'right' financial, business, marketing and ethical principles - it has no real comparison on this planet in my opinion.

Major Problem - But because of far too much hype + the very poor (OLD methodology) sales / marketing training provided within this industry - there is a terrible failure rate (90-95%)! Distributors are (still) being taught old sales strategies and techniques that are outdated, stressful, and unprofessional. As a result, distributors become uncomfortable, get frustrated, and struggle to succeed. They have not learned (are not learning) the right "people / communication skills" or "sales skills" - and this is a tragedy.

There IS a better way.

A Revolutionary Book - The Review I'm giving here is about a very important, MUST HAVE book - not just for Home Business entrepreneurs - but for everyone.

Michael Oliver - Although I have not personally 'met' this gentleman - I have chatted with him on one of our DRA (Distributor Rights Association) calls recently, where he was our guest speaker ((I'm proud to be serving on the DRA Board Of Directors, as Canada's representative. The DRA is a non-profit, global organization that serves to educate, inform, preserve and protect the 'rights' of Network Marketing distributors everywhere)).

Natural Selling - In my opinion, Michael Oliver is perhaps "the" finest teacher / educator / coach within the Network Marketing // Direct Sales industry. His contribution to this industry is huge. In addition to being a brilliant author, he is in constant demand as a speaker / trainer. His 'Natural Selling' approach to business building is radically different from the methods and techniques that many companies, uplines and other trainers teach to their distributors and associates - and thus, it has met with some controversy.

This book is without a doubt, a MUST HAVE resource - for both new as well as experienced Network Marketers (perhaps even more so for veterans). It should be required reading for every Network Marketer in my opinion. In it, Oliver gives us the option of another way to succeed - a more relaxed, fun, professional way.

Personally, I love the blueprint he lays out - as it challenges the very problem areas that most face. For example...

The 80//20 Rule - Early in this great book, he raises a profound question about the 80//20 Rule (20% of the people end up - doing 80% of the work - achieving 80% of the success).

Well, he puts forth the proposition => what if that 20% "makes up" those Rules (which, in many cases, cannot be duplicated by the other 80%)? Hmmm. And what if even 10% of those other 80% "could" succeed - IF those Rules were to be changed somewhat? Hmmm...

Attraction // Relationship Marketing - Michael Oliver describes business building using the approach of a "consultative dialogue" with people - to create long term and mutually profitable relationships. It avoids all the "manipulative techniques and high-pressure sales tactics" so commonly being used in this industry. Natural Selling instead, focuses on creating "trust" through relationship building first - and only introducing the products / services / business opportunity as potential solutions "after" a mutual process of discovery with the prospect (he calls them a 'potential partner') - where there's a good FIT for the other person.

Stress Free Building - This book teaches distributors "how" to both understand rejection and eliminate it - "how" to overcome the fear of objections - "how" to end call reluctance forever - "how" to forget all about any personal agenda, and instead, concentrate totally on the 'potential partners' needs and wishes - "how" to have 'potential partners' being attracted to YOU (-vs- you chasing them).

Communication - When we fail to "communicate" effectively with others, we lose - they lose. Disagreements / arguments / divorces / fights / wars - they can all occur because of a lack of ongoing communication. It's no different in our careers / businesses / professions. It starts with putting the OTHER person's interests first - period. It's about asking good questions - listening sensitively (not only to the 'words' spoken [or not spoken], but to the real 'meaning' behind them) - offering sound solutions to any problems uncovered - but also, being willing to admit it (and actually "walk away" from the situation) should you feel that your solution[s] might NOT be the most appropriate for that person.

It's a mindset thing - it's about changing out thinking. Michael Oliver "challenges" us to do just that in his exceptional book. Thank you, Michael!

I give this 255-page book a "perfect 10" - a full 5-STAR Rating.

If you have any involvement in Network Marketing this is a must read. It really gets into the essence of what Network Marketing should be about which is building relationships and helping people. This book gives you a step by step blueprint for putting the fun back into your network marketing business instead of working with with fear, anxiety and the loss of friendship. I highly recommend this book for anyone wanting to build their business in a way that will last.

I'm new to network marketing but not new to the law of attraction and motivational interviewing so when I read this book it was exciting for me to see how all three things could go together! It really helped me to view sales in a positive light and see how I can actually help others through network marketing. I've already used motivational interviewing as a nurse but never thought of how it could be applied in this way. The book is well written and easy to follow. Of course the stragtegies in the book need to be practiced, practiced, practiced before becomming second nature, but that's true of any new skill. I highly recommend this book!
