A real chance to pass a very tough exam is finally here!,

Hoping to pass the Network + Exam? Can't find any easy to follow study materials? Need help cramming the day before the test? Well your prayers have been answered by the combination set of books. This is just what that doctor ordered! This two book set, with a test preperation cd-rom, will help even the expert. The easy to follow Exam Cram book, in combination with the Exam Prep book will give you more than enough information to pass the Network + Exam. The additional CD-ROM, with practice tests, will provide even more help. Along with all the questions that both books provide, the reader would appear to have virtually no trouble with the exam. Coriolis has an excellent web site wiich I found very easy to navigate and obtain information. This book is reasonably price and most bookstores are offering discounts. The only thing I would add is a set of quick reference quiz cards.

I took the Network+ exam today and passed!!!!!! I'm new to the computer industry and most of the concepts are new to me, But by reading these books and using the prep test software I felt confident today when I went to take the exam. The books breaks down all of the terms so that any one can understand them. I took two weeks and read the book's and did the test. I gave this book a rating of five (5) because of how simple the book made the terminology seem. If you are serious about passing the Network+ exam this book is a must.

If you want the information you need to pass the test and actually function in the real world, this is your source. Yes, the books go far above and beyond what is needed to pass the test, but as such, they will continue to serve as a great reference for my networking issues for years to come.Yes, there are a few problems with the book, but the publisher's web site is very good about providing updated and accurate errata. There are even web-based practice test questions that (for the most part) are very good and quite representative of the questions from the "real test." The publisher's web site alone has sold me on using Exam Prep and Cram products in the future. I bought quite a few Network+ books and looked at dozens of web sites in my preparation for the Network+ exam. This series is the best, and along with Gilster's dummies book, was my final review for the test.

Not a good book for the Comptia Test,
By A Customer
This review is from: Network+ Prep and Cram Pack (Paperback)
There is alot of information in this book but it is too general and broad for the Current Comptia Network + Test. Covers all of the areas generally speaking but it is missing the detail needed to pass the test. If you want to pass the current exam find a better book with more details.

I took the Network+ exam yesterday (June 4, 2001) and passed with a score of 875 out of 900. What I did to prepare was read the prep one time though, then focus my attention on the cram. They contain all of the information that you need, however the test is not stricly memorization. It will ask you to take what you read from these books and apply it. Anyway, these are the tools you will need. Good luck.

Dated/slightly incomplete but allowed me to pass,
This review is from: Network+ Prep and Cram Pack (Paperback)
I used this pack to pass the exam today (May 22) on my first try. I received a score of 814 (need a 752 to pass) which is pretty good. I read the Exam prep text through once while highlighting what I thought was important. Than I went through my highlighting and created a "cheat sheet" which was 2 pages of the information I had to memorize. I memorized that information and then took the 2 exams included on the book CD ROM then the 4 exam cram tests. I was scoring about 73/75 on the book exam questions, on average. When I took it today I got an 814. So this method worked for me with these materials ONLY. It should be able to work for you =D. Best wishes!

Slightly outdated but concise and precise information. Now objectives of exam have changed but it continues to be a good book for network beginners (like me).

There is only one thing I have to tell you. If you really thinking about passing Newtwork + exam you have to buy that combo. In my opinion these are the best books currently on the market. I've read Exam prep and then Exam cram only once making some notes, then I've reviewed my notes and I passed exam on the first try with a score of 813 - good enough to pass, cause passing score is 752. My advise, don't hesitate, just buy these great books.
