Our congregation has been using this for several years. We have found it very helpful because it helps us match resources to ministry needs. The program allows us to get to know people, their gifts, their personal style, and their ministry passion. Churches have too often allowed "flakes" and immature, impulsive people to become involved, sometimes in leadership, when they were neither mature enough nor committed enough to be given such responsibility. We have an obligation to manage God's resources responsibly and not fly blind. While I do not necessarily agree with all the gifts breakdown Bigbee and Cousins use, I can live with it. We adjust the lessons to fit our time and our congregation's needs. We had been using the DVD, but haven't used it in a couple of years. That alone gives us more class time.
