None of the listed ingredients has any beneficial property to my knowledge.
The so called "clinical trial" on their website is a dead link.

I smell snake oil.

OK, I have not actually tried this product yet, but I am a user of some of Medactil's other products and will likely try this one soon.

After seeing some of the snarky comments here though from people who never even bought the products, I had to give a REAL user response. No, I do not regularly review products on Amazon and may have no others under me....most products I buy on Amazon are OK and not worth the time to review. Also, since the products actually work, once you try one then it is not strange the same users (like me) go looking at what other products the company offers, hence reviews of more than one product in the line.

This company is run by the Owners and they have provided my family with absolutely OUTSTANDING service and gone well above and beyond to help us. My daughter had some issues with her legs that nothing else would help with, and the Petroactil and Polyactil products provided by this company did the trick. We've also used the Periactil product for teeth, which is a nice product as well. Because those DO WORK, and this company provides such EXCELLENT service, I am looking at this product for myself as well as the joint relief product for my daughter (the cheerleader and sports fanatic).

Hope this helps anyone with concerns before purchasing. I just hated seeing good people maligned by snippy non-users.

I researched this product. Actual research studies show it stops inflammation at the cellular level.
I have asthma since I was an infant. I take many asthma medications.
I tried this product and it really works for me. I use it before bedtime and do not wake up in the night gasping for breath.
This is my new best friend, day or night.

I ordered this for my Mom cause she has shortness of breath at times. She used this and she saw a difference right away. Will order again when she needs another one.

My husband has suffered with asthma since childhood. He has tried countless remedies, both pharmaceutical and natural. During his last bout, which was going on for several weeks, I desperately began searching for something to give him relief. He felt like he was drowning all the time. I ordered neumactil after reading their claims, but since there were no reviews, I did not have much hope. When the product arrived, he rubbed some on his chest as directed, and looked at me like,"Ok, I've humored you." Then after a few minutes, much to his surprise, his asthma symptoms stopped. He could breathe freely for the first time in weeks. He couldn't believe it. It's been just under 2 weeks. He had slight asthma when he caught a cold, but for only about a few hours. Not nearly as bad as before. Now he's completely clear again. This is remarkable. I've just ordered 3 more tubes, so he will have a spare, and for my 2 sons to try as well. If you suffer with asthma, I highly recommend that you give this product a try. Their customer service is prompt and courteous, and they are the REAL DEAL!

Even though the product has no ingredients that are known to stop asthma attacks, it's wonderful stuff. The fantastic point that hasn't been brought up before by most of the other five-star reviewers, who, though pure coincidence I'm sure, have reviewed most of the other medACTIL product line with similarly high praise, is that this magnificent product is superbly designed with serpentine oils and the finest inert ingredients to permit a psychosomatic asthma sufferer to believe it's helping.

Amazing. My friend gave me Neumactil as stocking stuffer. Weird gift, I thought. Now I think it was the best gift ever! I can breathe! I've been using it for about three weeks and the difference is overwhelmingly positive. Five stars! I use Keractil for my nails, but didn't realize it was the same company. Good company; great products.

We don't have asthma,but my father has lung problems and loves this product. If one of my kids gets a cough, I use it. My little boy was a premie and his lungs were not well developed when he was born. Though he is fine now, I'm really cautious about what I use, so my Dad gave me some Neumactil. If the baby gets a cough, I massage a tiny bit of Neumactil at the base of his throat and the cough stops. It's great at night when cough is keeping us all awake. The rest of my family uses it as well whenever we have any concerns, like if it feels like a case of flu might be coming on. It is very effective and we feel better without sugary syrups or drugs that make us feel funny.

UPDATE: I have now been using Neumactil, instead of steroid inhalers, for six months. I took a breathing test at the hospital and now officially clinically do not have asthma! I passed the test, exceeding the minimum requirements for normal lung capacity. Prior to using Neumactil, my lung capacity was less than half of normal. This is absolute proof that Neumactil works. I have not changed anything else. I don't smoke, never have, and do not have any more or less activity. In fact, we have added two cats to our family and I'm allergic to cats, but have not had any asthmatic flare-ups. I use Neumactil at least once per day.

So, for those skeptics who need empirical data before they'll believe, here it is! I've had asthma since 1994 and not anymore, because of Neumactil!

If you suffer with asthma and you want it GONE, not just "controlled", you must try this product! I have been using it for a few weeks. It took only one use to feel better (I'm serious), and two or three uses to feel like I have a new set of lungs. Considering that my lungs were so badly infected for years and my airways so inflamed that one doctor told me I have "emphysema lungs" (I don't smoke nor spend time around smokers). I'm a young woman in my 30s.

My asthma was diagnosed at 21, and got progressively worse over the years. After a bout with stubborn pneumonia two years ago, my breathing and overall well being weren't quite right. Every morning as soon as I woke up, I'd run to the sink to cough up green phlegm. Antibiotics seemed to make it worse. I also suffer from systemic candidiasis, which spirals out of control when using antibiotics. But, the last straw was the prescription of a new, much stronger steroidal inhaler that my doctor felt was necessary to handle my worsened asthma.

My health insurance even dropped me due to my asthma. The frequent renewal of prescriptions and visits appeared out of control, and I was no longer a safe risk.

The inhaler's side effects were instant and horrible. Thrush, more yeast infections, sinus trouble, and that yucky powdery feeling in my mouth were unbearable. My doctor had to prescribe medication for the thrush caused by the medication for the asthma. Between all I spent on Monistat, apple cider vinegar for rinsing, AZO tablets, Sudafed, allergy meds, and the inhalers themselves, my asthma was going to drain me as well as kill me. Too darned high a price to be miserable!

In discussions with my doctor, I explained that the side effects of the steroids were far outweighing the benefits. The answer: try to fix the candida and just live with whatever the inhaler effects are. But candida is, to a large degree, caused and/or aggravated by steroids! Finally, a couple months ago, I told my doctor that I refuse to stay on the steroidal inhaler for much longer -- there just has to be another way. The yeast was eating me alive.

Lo and behold, while surfing Amazon, I find Neumactil! I'm not averse to alternative remedies so was willing to give it a try despite not checking with a doctor (I knew what the answer would be). Figured if it didn't work, I'd be no worse off than I already was.

Thank goodness I took the chance, because it started working immediately! I have only used my steroidal inhaler once since then, and it made me so sick (I wasn't used to it anymore) -- thrush, scratchy throat, powder-mouth no matter how much I rinsed, and overall yucky and upset that I decided that was the last time. Without it, I finally have a fighting chance to get the candida back in balance for good. (Fivelac is fantastic for that.) I'd already treated myself for leaky-gut syndrome and won, and I can win this too. I've left my inhalers at home when going out and didn't give a hoot.

No longer do I cough up the green goo every single morning, and my use of decongestants has been reduced to incidences of going out in changing weather and being around lots of pollen and dust. That's a huge change, considering I was taking them twice a day, almost every day for years. I trust that my congestion will be reduced even more the longer I use Neumactil, because applying it on my nose helps immediately! I also apply it on my neck and chest.

I've been telling everyone I know -- whether they have asthma or not -- about Neumactil, and so far, no one but my boyfriend believes me. I don't claim to be a doctor and I'm not saying that my doctors are wrong, only that this is an effective alternative for me. That's because I was tired of controlling asthma; I wanted it gone. It's gone.

It is a shame if such naysayers cause even one child to miss out on Neumactil, a product that could not only help them tremendously, but also will eliminate from their lives steroids and medications with horrid side effects.

By the way, R. Smith claims he purchased Neumactil from another vendor. medACTIL is and always has been the ONLY distributor in North America. We have NO over-the-counter outlets in Florida where he resides.
