This review is from: Neuroengineering the Future: Virtual Minds and the Creation of Immortality (Computer Science) (Hardcover)
Computer and science collections at the college level will find important a controversial book which describes concepts of neuroengineering, which have already produced cochlear implants and promise many new advancements. From discussions of how the brain works to surveys of neural technologies, devices that can interact with the brain, and more, chapters discuss mind, machine, and transition points between the two. The science is specific, yet discussions are easy to absorb.
