This review is from: Neuropsychological Assessment of Dementia and Depression in Older Adults: A Clinician's Guide (Paperback)
This book provides a useful and well documented review of the issues and procedures involved in assessment of cognitive functioning and depression in the geriatric population. I used the book to obtain continuing education through the American Psychological Association. I perform a couple of these assessments every month, so much of the book was not new to me but the reference list alone is worth a lot.

This review is from: Neuropsychological Assessment of Dementia and Depression in Older Adults: A Clinician's Guide (Paperback)
Solid coverage of fundamentals, makes it valuable for students and for clinicians who may not be doing these kinds of assessments frequently enough to feel on top of them. Still has some benefit for more experienced practitioners. Especially helpful are the attention to presentation of depression in older adults, talking about results of assessment with patients and families, and assessment for competence.
