We got this as a gift at my baby shower and my daughter started using it around 6 months. She used it to help her start pulling up and feeling all the different sides. By nine months she was standing (with its help) and playing. She is almost 2 now and still loves it. It comes with a cartridge that changes the songs and makes it more interactive- like singing head, shoulders, knees and toes, as she does the dance, or doing jumping jacks. I can see that she will be using this toy for a long time to come. This is the only toy that has made that long haul from infancy well into toddlerhood. For the price, it is a great buy! She was singing along with the songs around age one and it helped her learn her shapes too!

My 9 month old plays with this product and really enjoys it! The sounds are fun (songs). It provides interesting ways for baby to explore. As my baby grows, this toy will help her develop motor skills like working snaps, zippers, buttons, etc. She is working some of those things even now! She loves to stand at it and it is very safe (soft cloth and no sharp edges).

This is a terrific learning tool and will keep baby;s attention for long periods of time!

Among the many toys at daycare, this is my daughter's favorite (outside of the gym). She is 13 months and has been walking for 2 months; however, because it is soft, I believe it would be a good choice for a child who was still "cruising." There are lots of things to manipulate inside the top layer of each side of the cube. And with 6 sides to the cube, there are a lot of options.

If electronic songs don't make you crazy and you don't have any blanket objections to battery-operated toys, this would be a good choice for your toddler.

I purchased this for my little granddaughter. Both she and I had so much fun with it!

this is the second neurosmith jumbo music block i have purchased for grandchildren. i have recommended it to my sister for her grandchild.quality made and educational. everyone loves it.

This toy is great. My daughter started using it at about one year old and continues to enjoy it. It is the perfect height for her to stand holding onto. If you have hardwood floors, it can also be pushed around as a walker. The sound quality is great and the songs are not too annoying to parents. There are lots of shapes, colors and things to play with on all six sides. I give this an A+.

This is a neat toy.very soft and safe. It`s an interactive toy for different ages. My Grandaughters , 4 years old and 6 months, both like it alot. Highly recommended.

I bought this for my son's 1st birthday after a lot of research. I was so excited and would have given it to him early if my husband hadn't stopped me. After the initial fascination because it was something new, he hasn't really played with it. The songs are cute, but right now that's all that amuses him with this toy. We do hide some of his smaller toys (little people, blocks, etc) in the different sides and he thinks that is funny. I thought that the bean bag star actually came out, but it's attached so he can't really play with it at all. The book doesn't come out far and it small. On the other hand, the colors are bright and it appears to be well made and sturdy. I think it is something that could last many years.

We're going to put this toy up for a while and bring it back out when he's a little older. My rating is based on our impression of it at his current age, but I'm hoping to be able to change it. I think he'll get more use out of it once he can undo the buttons, etc. I'm keeping my fingers crossed because it wasn't exactly a cheap toy!

My 10-month old grandson immediately fell in love with this toy. It's very helpful in his learning hand/finger manipulation. The music is also beneficial to the "cause and affect" learning experience. Also helps him to pull himself up to standing position. Yet, it's not an overpowering item in the livingroom.

This is a great toy - plenty of things to pull and play with, plus it is soft with no edges. Plenty of play time was spent with this.

And the music is addictive, at some point you may find yourself singing the squares song, I know I found myself doing so.

My son received alot of enjoyment from this and though he does not play with it as much, we bring it out once in awhile because the songs bring a smile to both of us.
