Good clean smell, leaves hair feeling clean, removes dandruff and does not use potentially carcinogenic coal tar.

If you have severe Seborrheic dermatitis or dandruff, this might work for you. It work for me, unlike Head and Shoulder which make my symptoms worse. H&S would causes my scalp to create crust and flakes after hour of washing and rinsing in it. Neutrogena reduce and eliminate dandruff. There is a hint of odor, but it's not as bad as H&S. I would recommend it if you have dandruff.

I got a terrible itchy scalp this winter--no idea why--and it was driving me crazy. No flakes, though--just a terrible itch and I was tearing up my scalp with scratching. I had to try something...so I bought this product. I wanted something at a reasonable cost but effective, that didn't smell like medicine and had conditioners in it. This stuff is perfect. The first few times I used it I shampooed daily and followed the directions to repeat, and didn't use extra conditioner because I didn't want to blunt the effect. Didn't need it--this shampoo has great conditioners built in. Then decreased to a single lathering and did it daily for about a week, then switched to every other day (I don't normally shampoo daily) and then down to 2-3x per week, substituting a gentle shampoo plus separate conditioner in between times. I avoided styling products with alcohol as well. Completely cured!

I wouldn't say I had terrible dandruff, but I was able to notice it, and so was my hairdresser. I started using this product 3 times a week. My hairdresser suggessted shampooing with this every other day, and applying a liberal ammount of conditioner after that, leaving in for 4 minutes. (I use Pantene Pro-V conitioner.) My hair is silky, dandruff free, and shiny. I love it. Even my hairdresser says you can't see a thing. It's amazing. The only flaw is that it can be very drying, so you have to condition well.

Ive tried them all and this is the only one that works and CONTROLS the dandruff. I tried low end brands like equate, house hold names like Head and shoulders and the high ultra care like Denorex. This type is the only one ive seen so far that has Vitamin E in its formula as well. Vitamin E is great for skin and hair, so i wonder if thats one of the reasons why it works so well. Trust me, i was very insecure with my scalp for good reasons. Now its completely controlled. Just try it out, its not that much compared to other products and it lathers VERY effectively with small amounts.

I have used Neutrogena T/Gel Daily Control Dandruff Shampoo for a long time. It is great to get hairspray buildup out of my hair and leave my hair feeling silky clean and soft. I also love the scent of this shampoo.

great product, was a very good deal for 3! love this shampoo, its hard to find a shampoo that works for dry scalp, but this one does!

Both of my brothers and my soon to be husband have had dandruff issues as long as they can remember...This t/gel type is a little less medicinal than the others, but equally effective at eliminating flakes/other. Works quickly and lasts.

This is such a GREAT product. I've had a recent dandruff issue - and I tried everything short of shaving my head. Nothing works like this shampoo... you will not be disappointed!! :)

Recommended by my dermatologist. It's fine. Not my favorite shampoo, but very good, and it works.
