Since the only other review of this product is about its efficacy as a sunblock (and there no sunblock in this lotion which is the "night" version, I thought I'd add another review. THIS IS THE BEST LOTION ALL AROUND! I keep a large stock of it in the refrigerator in case they stop making it. My skin is pretty great for a 55-year old who's never had any cosmetic procedures. I think that's due partly to having skin that's not as reactive to the sun as other people's (less likely to burn or to tan) but the rest I think I owe to this moisturizer and other alpha hydroxy products I used before I found this. Recently, I tried a slew of other products like retinols and beta hydroxy's, etc., etc., because there were some changes in my face this year that the product can't quite keep up with, but so far, all these others--retinols, beta-hydroxy's, hydroquinone, etc., caused irritation and breakouts. Most of the year this moisturizes my very dry skin sufficiently, even though it seems non-oily, and it exfoliates to such an extent that peels and microdermabrasion don't really do anything extra this product hasn't already done (except peels do irritate and redden my skin).

You can't really expect it to bring aging to a complete standstill for years on end, unfortunately, so I guess I'll accept (for now) looking just 5-10 years younger than my age, and kiss the look of 40 a dry-eyed farewell. As long as they keep making this, I'll keep buying it. (I also use this lightly on my legs in the winter to keep my skin soft and flaky skin at bay. It needs only a light application.)

One of the best products I've ever used! I was delighted to find it online after it disappeared from the shelves of my local retail stores. I even called Neutrogena, fearing they discontinued making it; I was advised to check it on Amazon. I am glad I did, this lotion is fantastic!

I have been using Neutrogena's Acne Stress Control Wash to eliminate my acne(it started up again at age 32 because I have been working out regularly); I tried the Healthy Skin face lotion today for the first time and I noticed immediate results. My face looks smoother and shinier. This is a winner! I am impressed and will continue to use.
