I like sleeping with a clean face because your face gets oily and picks up a lot of dirt during the day and I don't like the thought of wiping all that stuff off on to my pillow when I sleep.
I don't use soap because it drys up your face so I tried this. 1) I like the tube because it's easy to use. 2) Cleans nicely and doesn't leave your face dry. 3) I usually don't like strong scented stuff but sometimes you just need some scent to cover up assorted smells you pick up during the day. I recommend this mainly because of 2), i.e. it doesn't dry your face up but still cleans nicely.

This is by far the BEST face wash I've ever used, it cleans my face very thoroughly. It is definitely invigorating, perfect for the morning "wake-up shower". I love the way this makes my face feel.

Let me start by reviewing the product itself. Full disclosure: I am most definitely not a face wash aficionado. I've never found a face wash that I felt was far superior to the rest, and I don't think that this one is particularly special. But I have found face washes that were clearly inferior to the rest, and I have found face washes that were ludicrously overpriced. The good news is that this product is neither overpriced (at least on Amazon) nor inferior.
Here's the rundown: Scent: a distinctly masculine odor that's fresh but not overdone (this is NOT Brut). Texture: slippery gel that works into a thin lather as you scrub. Quantity: a penny-size dollop will take care of your face; this means the product should last several months. Finish: leaves skin feeling oil-free, smooth, and perhaps a bit dry, depending on your skin type. Packaging: container is stable and easy to use; the plastic is strong enough that the top shouldn't crack off. For the product alone, I'd give 4.5 stars. Gets the job done. Can't ask for much more in a face wash. So far, so good. But here's the (potential) catch: as a result of inadequate packaging on Amazon's end, mine arrived squashed, with about 25 percent of its contents irretrievably lost. I did not bother to return the item (how do you ship a big wet mess back to Amazon), but I did provide feedback to Amazon about the packaging problem.
