First thing to point out: This product looks, feels, and works in much different ways than most of the Neutrogena product line. I've tried a lot of their other products and none of them really work the same way or are effective, in my opinion. Everybody's skin is different, so your mileage may vary.....but if you're looking for something and haven't been thrilled with other Neutro stuff, you might love this one because it's NOT like the others.

This product contains vitamins (like B5), fruit and plant enzyme extracts, and salicylic acid (one of the hydroxy acids), among other things. It has a surprising peach color and light lotion-y texture. It smooths the surface of the skin. It helps to regenerate the top layer of skin, preventing clogged pores, making the skin fresh and dewy and youthful and soft, and evening out the skintone. It works better and better the longer you use it. You might not notice much the first week, but if you keep it up for several weeks, you won't have to notice....people will be telling YOU how great your skin looks. And no, I'm not selling or making any money from telling you this. I'm spreading the word, because I want the product to be continued by the company, and the only way to get them to do it is to let people know how good it is, so it will sell. This product is great because it prevents skin problems but it also helps to heal and improve skin after past problems.

There is a cult following for this amazing product which is now impossible to find in stores, but can be ordered online here still. This product changed my skin 100% from inflammatory, sensitive, hormonal skin that broke out to smooth, radiant, glowing skin. It is life changing, life SAVING in a way, because there is great stigma in our society regarding beauty. I am not sure I could cope with life without this product. It's that good and changes my life that much. In fact, if they ever stop making it available, it will be immoral, like taking life-saving medicines off the market when there is no replacement, because I have never and I mean never ----after countless dermatologists and many experiences with many different products (searching actively) --- found anything else that was this good for my skin. If I have to go back to the skin I had before this product, I would sink into a serious depression. I am not talking about vanity here-I'm talking about help overcoming a disability. Unlike serious and harmful drugs I've been prescribed before, this skincare product gave me natural healthy amazing skin without side effects or problems. This is not only the best skincare product I've ever used, but the best beauty product, and one of the best products of any type I've ever purchased. This the honest-to-god truth, I am telling it like it is. I am passionately saying all this because I'm hoping if enough people demand to keep this product around, Neutrogena will make sure it's still available for us. Apply a thin layer once or twice a day. Be consistent, but occasionally missing a day or two is no big deal if you've been keeping it up for awhile.

SKINCARE TIP: An unrelated product that works great alongside this one for total skincare (also amazingly cheap but hard to find) is Dickinson's Witch Hazel with aloe vera. The witch hazel is a natural anti-inflammatory that soothes irritation, inflammation, and redness in the skin. The aloe vera sooths and helps healing---also works for men who nick their skin while shaving. Use the Dickinson's (yes, the brand matters---others aren't as good) to cleanse your skin morning and bedtime, then use the Neutrogena once a day, and you'll thank me. Honest to god.
