4.0 out of 5 stars So moisturizing! But $8 bucks? May 10, 2012
I received a sample of Neutrogena Revitalizing Lip Balm in Healthy Blush. I instantly fell in love with the light but shimmery color and the moisture... amazing!! My lips were really dry and I was shocked at how much this product helped them!
I actually started using this lip balm instead of my usual lipstick!

The only issues with Neutrogena Revitalizing Lip balm is the container. It is oval shaped and I am used to lip balm that is round. I am sure Neutrogena did it to be different but it makes application a bit messy (at least for me) I have to check to ensure there is not color on my upper lip where it shouldn't be and I though I mastered putting on lip balm back when I was 6.

Also, as mentioned I received this product to test so I got it for free. $8 seems a bit pricey for me. I really haven't used too much of it yet so perhaps it lasts a few months in which case, I would be more willing to "splure" on lip balm. I will usually pay about $3-4 for a 3 pack of flavored Blistex.

5.0 out of 5 stars BEST lip balm ever!!! October 27, 2011
OMG!!! This has got to be the best lip balm that I have tried, so good that I went back for more and now I have 4 colors. At first I was skeptical because of the price, at $9.00 is a bit pricey for a lip balm but after I tried it, it was totally worth it. You put it on very easily, is not sticky, it gives your lips color, plus as it wears off your lips still feel moist. Even when the balm is gone your lips still feel soft. I discovered that if you use it before you apply lipstick, it actually makes your lipstick last longer and your lips look great. I absolutely love it. I got 4 colors (Fresh Plum, Sunny Berry, Petal Glow, and Soft Caramel), I plan on getting more. I know this balm is expensive but it is absolutely worth it, your lips will thank you!

5.0 out of 5 stars Best tinted lip balm ever June 6, 2012
I absolutely love this lip balm. It has a good amount of color and doesn't just stain the lips but actually provides good color coverage. I don't wear lipstick much anymore but do wear lip balm every day and feel like I need some color some days. This is the perfect mix of both color and moisture for work or going out for drinks. Also, the smell is pleasant and not overpowering.

5.0 out of 5 stars My new favorite lip Balm. January 2, 2012

I love these new Neutrogena lip balms! I have fair skin, not too white and not dark, and I preferred the darker colors of these balms: Petal Glow and Fresh Plum. Smell nice, stay on, and don't stick.

5.0 out of 5 stars love! January 23, 2013
By Rose
I was skeptical at first, there are A LOT of chap stick/lip balms in the market that claim to do wondrous things for your lips, but really just moisturize them for 15 minutes and have no long term effect whatsoever. The really evil ones make it, so that the day you forget your chap stick, your lips feel like they're going to bleed. But this one is different in all the right ways. The tube isn't round, it's flattened, so it fits snugly into my wallet, which I love. It's actually tinted, I got the darkest one, fresh plum, because usually I get tinted balms and they turn out being clear, but this one does give a nice rosy glow. I swim, so the SPF was a definite PLUS for me. Over all, it's good, it's not too glossy, it feels like a lip balm and does what a good lip balm should. $8 is not too much unless you plan on getting a new one every couple weeks.

4.0 out of 5 stars Pricey but worth it by comparison. November 10, 2012
- I'd tried the Burt's Bees and Yes To Carrots tinted lip balms and this one is definitely the best out of the bunch, mostly because unlike the other two brands, this one doesn't taste awful upon application, so I actually use it.
- It cost more than I usually spend on lip products and I actually bought mine slightly cheaper at Walmart (~$7).
- I find the oval container to be a bit awkward for application. Or maybe learning curve is a more apt description.
- The balm gives a nice even coat of color that lasts for longer than I'd been expecting and even after the color's faded your lips still feel moisturized; it's not smear-proof, but I wasn't really expecting it to be.
- I got Healthy Blush and Soft Caramel and I agree with other reviews that say the packaging does a piss poor job of showing you what the colors actually look like. But they're both nice colors.

Overall, this product isn't perfect but it does what it's intended to do and I'm a satisfied customer.

1.0 out of 5 stars too expensive, photo misleading December 28, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase
Really--I paid *eight dollars* for this?? Thank heavens the balm feels good, because the packaging and color were lacking. Very thin plastic on the case, and this balm stick is *teensy*. The size, 0.15 oz/4.2 gr is really almost nothing, the size of a ChapStick-type lip balm rather than a type of lipstick, which the photo made it look like (the tube is more flat than round). Its 'healthy blush' color is more candy pink rather than the darker color on the photo. I'm always up for trying a new lip balm, but this was a disappointment.

4.0 out of 5 stars Very nice. Moist and nice color. Sheer June 6, 2013
I like this tinted lip balm the best of the ones that I have tried. The color is very natural and feels sheer. I don't feel overly made up. It feels light, like regular lip balm, and is moisturizing. It smells faintly of watermelon. It even is SPF 20 (and not 10)! Very nice (but it is cheaper at the store). I like this well.
