I have a normal to oily complexion and after using this twice a day for a few weeks I definitely noticed my face cleared up quite a bit. I'm 32 years old and I should not have to deal with acne anymore - so this did the trick fine. It's not alcohol based, so it doesn't leave your face feeling super tight like an astringent would (which also has an oily backlash when used) so it's nice enough for daily use.

The first thing you notice when you pop the cap, is that it actually smells good. Not soapy.
The second thing, there aren't any of those "micro-beads" that get stuck in your beard/stubble. Hooray!
The third thing, it actually does a pretty darn good job of cleaning your face, and leaving your skin feeling fresh, and not oily/greasy.

Definitely glad I got this as an Amazon.com subscription item. I've been well pleased with it.

I've been using this product twice a day for a couple of weeks now (as well as the Neutrogena Men Skin Clearing Shave Cream every time I shave) and I have seen results. My face breakouts less and even when it does, the pimple/s seem to heal and fade faster while using this wash. The first few times you use it, you will feel the chill in under your skin but with time you will adjust and that invigorating sensation will become less apparent... Which is kinda a bummer, but there is nothing you can do about it. The results don't seem to fade though, and thats the important part. This product, if overused, WILL dry out your skin pretty badly.

I've been using facial wash soaps for about 10 years and this one is one of the best. I used to use a more feminine Nuetrogena because it was the best value available, and my wife would use it as well so it ran out quickly. This stuff works just as well and she won't use it.

I bought this in hopes of having a good daily facial wash that doesn't dry out my skin. This works in the sense that it doesn't dry out your skin, but I haven't seen much improvement in skin texture or clearness. Occasional pimples reoccur just as they have always done on my face (not acne). I think this is as useful as a regular bar of soap, nothing more. I'll have to try something different.

At first I did not mind the smell but it seems like as you get to the bottom of the bottle it starts smelling worse. Also the face wash dried out my skin so now it is flaky and feels rough. It did help me get rid of some(not all) of my pimples, so that is why it gets three stars.

I had more success with this face wash than any of the previous brands I've tried (Proactive, Clearasil, and other bargain brands). Not everyone's skin is the same, so I might not work as well for you. But, it's definitely worth a try, especially if you haven't found great success with what's out there. I'm definitely ordering a subscription.

A lot of reviews have complained about the smell. Personally, I don't think the scent is very strong, and it isn't an issue for me.

Been using this one for a while. Works great, leaves my face feeling fresh and clean. I recommend it. Used to be able to get it in a 5 pack which was nice because less ordering... but now its just available in singles.. but subscribe and save stops me from having to worry about it.

I'll admit that I really don't know much about skin care products seeing that this is the first time I have ever used a face wash that wasn't my girlfriends. The face wash did a good job of removing the oil on my face without overly drying it. Also it seemed to help make shaving a little easier which is always a plus. Since I've been using it I haven't had any breakouts (which are occasional but not severe)so overall the product does it job well.

I bought this product because it is subscribe-and-save eligible, and because I tend to trust Neutrogena. I've been pleased. Only a small amount goes on really nicely, and the salicylic acid helps clear up acne. Also, I have mild allergies, and have found it to be very non-reactive. I plan to continue using the product.
