I've been battling acne for years now. This system of products finally helped me. While my skin isn't perfect, breakouts are now rare, smaller, and clear up very quickly. My overall skin health is improved - the surface is smoother and my pores appear smaller. Even my father has commented on the difference several times!

This product is the "first step" in the Acne Stress Control line. I use two pumps of the foam when I wash my face in the shower every evening. I started out just using one pump but I can feel a difference on my skin as I'm washing with two. I wear very light makeup and don't feel like I need to use a separate makeup remover for this wash. One tip I've found - let it sit on the skin for thirty seconds or so before washing off, and make sure to massage it around as you put it on and take it off.

My skin isn't completely covered in pimples, but I am always breaking out, including those deep, painful ones. I got super diligent about my skincare a few months ago because I was tired of being in my mid-twenties with the skin of a teenager. I tried Proactiv, but I was left with skin that was red, flaky, irritated, and STILL breaking out. Not exactly a great combination.

When I first tried this product, I have to admit that I was skeptical because everything else on the market seems to operate under the assumption that it has to be harsh to work. Thankfully Neutrogena made an effective acne product that doesn't leave me red and flaky, even after a few months of use.

Morning: Neutrogena Acne Stress Power Foam Wash and this product. (Also, I use Neutrogena skin soothers stick concealer and L'oreal Bare Minerales foundation for my make-up.)
Night: Clean and Clear Blackhead Clearing Scrub every other day (the Neutrogena scrub that's supposed to go with this system made me break out), Neutrogena Acne Stress Power Foam Wash, this product, and then Neutrogena On-The-Spot treatment all over my entire face.

Everyone is different, so this might not work for you, but I hope you find something that does. Good luck!

After using Proactiv for 6 years and having decent success, I started to notice I was getting these huge zits on my forehead that wouldn't go away for weeks and would leave marks on my face once they were gone. I decided to embark on a journey of finding the products that would clear up my face once and for all. I went through some other systems before reading reviews on this product and decided to give it a try. After all, what could I lose?

A little bit on my skin type: my forehead, nose and chin like to break out and I have oily skin. Yet if I use too harsh of products my skin will dry out and start to crack so I have to be careful with what I use. If the product isn't harsh enough though, I have very oily skin and break out terribly. So I was stumped as to what I could do.

This face wash is amazing. I use two pumps in the shower and scrub this into my face for about 30 seconds. Rinse off and viola! I love the smell of this product, it is very fresh and calming and it makes me skin feel clean yet still moisturized.

I also use this with the Acne Stress Control 3 in 1 hydrating acne treatment. These two together made my face moisturized yet clearer then I had ever seen it before. I have maybe a small zit or two on my forehead as compared to the 15 I consistently had before this and they were much larger. Another tip, if you wear makeup use a makeup remover. I use Clinique rinse off foaming cleanser and this along with the acne control system has given me the clearest skin I have ever seen!

One last item, if you use these two products together you shouldn't need a moisturizer. This is the first system I have used that didn't require a moisturizer after the acne "moisturizer" treatment.

I love that its a foam cleanser! It doesn't get my hair all soapy when I wash my face in the morning and it doesn't leave residue on my face. It is my favorite cleanser above all. It makes my face really soft and it helps with my acne a lot. I would definitely recommend this to anyone. It has a nice fresh smell, kind of like cucumbers!

I am not a teenager and surprisingly when I was a teenager I didn't have acne. I started getting acne issues in my early twenties and have not been able to get rid of them. I would never leave the house without makeup and just hated my face some days. However that is not the case anymore. Finally I found a product that works. After spending hundreds, if not thousands of dollars, on every product that "claimed" to heal and reduce acne. The Neutrogena Stress Control line is a life saver and I am so grateful that I bought it.

So I got this product on a whim and had never heard of it before. I had just finished my bottle of tea tree face wash from The Body Shop and went to the store to find something new since I was not happy with the tea tree product. Though the tea tree face wash was ok in the beginning my skin started to look dry and flaky and I started getting really bad breakouts. I was desperate and very unhappy with the way my skin looked. I couldn't leave the house without make-up and this time the pimples were painful and wouldn't heal. I have tried numerous products whether it was proactive, tea tree face wash or fresh pharmacy from Lush and would be happy with the results from the 1st week and then notice that it wasn't helping, nor my skin improving. Anyway I saw the stress control line and thought, why not, but was skeptical. But I have to say this product is amazing. From the 1st day I noticed that the product soothed my inflamed acne. After a few days the acne just started disappearing and the little bumps disappeared. My skin stopped being flaky and felt incredibly smooth. For the first time in years I can walk out of my house without wearing make-up. I just hope the product continues to work like it does because I think I have just found the best weapon against acne to date. This is a miracle line for acne control and I just love it!

The most effective yet gentle foam wash I've used - love it more than the expensive brands I've used from the department and specialty stores. My face never feels stripped or underwashed.

As with all skin care products, everything affects different people in different ways. This, however, works very well for my skin. I've used several different acne lines (Clinique, Aveeno, Juice Beauty, AcneFree, etc) and none of them had the results of Neutrogena. I only use the power foam and the Hydrating Acne treatment from this line (though I do use an on-the-spot treatment from neutrogena as well). After a week or two, my skin was clear. I've gotten one or two zits since then, but with the on-the-spot treatment, they're gone in a day or two. I would highly recommend at least trying these products.

I purchase this item after looking all over the other products that are out there for the occasional acne problem skin. I really never had used any neutrogena product before, I decided to give it a try. So far after approx. three 3 weeks of daily usage my skin has cleared up I do not have the drying feeling that occurs with products that are oriented for acne skin and people under twenty. Even my 40 something cousin has used this product and likes it. It does work good to really clean your skin of the days impurities and not worry about over drying your skin specially good for sensitive skin. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because I think it is still to early to really give it the full 5 stars.

I dont kow about the acne, but it sure softens the skin, perhaps it did reduce the acne a little.
