I have African-American super fine, extremely dry, super kinky hair. I wear it natural so I have a difficulty finding products that will define my curls while moisturizing at the same time.
This product is a great moisturizer that doesn't flake or leave any residue but it does nothing to define my natural curl pattern (that's why I'm giving it four stars instead of five). I have however noticed a dramatic decline in brittleness and hair breakage so I will continue to use it. I use it everyday on wet or dry hair and it doesn't build up---just softens.

Since writing this review I have found a truly awesome and wonderful product that I would give 6 stars if I could. It's Giovanni Direct Leave-In Conditioner. A little goes a very long way. It's light, not greasy and it comes in a generous 8.5oz size. It conditions better than Neutrogena, I use much less of it and it also defines my natural curl pattern!
My hair is beautiful and getting better all of the time. I still use the Triple moisture shampoo and conditioner but as far as my leave-in conditioner, I have left Neutrogena in the dust and have happily replaced it with Giovanni Direct Leave-In Conditioner.

I have African-American hair and it was very dry and wiry feeling. I used this one time and noticed a difference immediately! It's soft and manageable again!! I'll never stop using this!

My local super centers quit carrying this product and it's the only thing that works on my baby fine mixed race hair. I've used every sort of product and this one leaves my hair soft and not greasy. Some leave in conditioners actually make my hair more dry because they use cheap ingredients. This leave-in cream is the best thing I've purchased. I recommend it to anyone who has dry, brittle hair.

I started using this product when my hair was long and I really needed something to help me get a comb through it after washing. I was worried that it would weigh my hair down and flatten it. That was NOT the case. I use it every time I wash my hair and what I get is soft, shiny hair that I can easily comb when it's wet. My hair is short now and I'm still using it and am able to style my hair with no problems. This is the first conditioner I've ever used that left my hair so soft and shiny without weighing it down and taking out some of the body.

I love this. It's so nice and light on the hair, yet it still moisturizes and makes my hair look pretty and smooth. My hair is so soft now, too. The smell is absolutely wonderful. This is now included with my other "Subscribe and Save" items.

I ordered this leave-in cream after reading a bunch of forums on African American hair. I have thick/coarse hair and after using this every night my hair has been super soft! Remember to seal your ends with an oil after you put this on to retain the moisture. You won't be dissapointed if you order this!

I've tried many products while traveling and living in different countries over time, and have become very picky about shampoos. This is by far the best product I have come across - in terms of feel and results. I can't say what it scientifically is doing for or to my hair, but it is the only one that does not feel like my hair has been stripped by turpentine.
It lathers up very well, smells great, and leaves my hair feeling smooth, clean but not dried out. I sometimes use it for face wash as well when I run out of that - since it doesn't dry the skin at all and still cleans well.

For me this is the only 2-in-1 product that actually works as it says - period.

This conditioner is great if you're obsessed with having luxuriously soft hair every day. I have fine hair which lends itself to tangles and frizzing, so I'm always on the look out for a conditioner which will help my hair feel salon-smooth without making it greasy and heavy. This stuff is amazing, and smells nice without being overpowering. Favorite conditioner ever!

Favorite Shampoo, ever. I have long, fine hair.... I USED to get that dry straw look...... but not anymore. With this shampoo and conditioner, I've even been able to grow it long enough to send about 20 inches to locks of love in the last four years.

I bleached my hair a couple of years ago (which demolished it) and this conditioner along with the Replenishing shampoo was recommended to me by my stylist. Bleaching my hair my it go from soft to dry and wirey and after just a couple of months of using the combo, my hair was soft again! It was fantastic! This product also has a nice fruity smell which I like which makes it DOUBLE fantastic!
