I bought a sampler tube of this at Target just to see if a post-shave lotion could help my irritated skin. Shaving with either a razor blade or an electric shaver always leaves my skin, especially my neck, very irritated.

The first time I used this lotion I was amazed at how quickly it soothed my skin.

A couple of other advantages: No fragrance, non-oily feel after it has absorbed in, and SPF 20 sun block protection.

Face lotion isn't just for women...

I picked up a tube of the Neutrogena Triple Protect lotion off a clearance rack at the Giant to see if it would soothe razor burn and moisturize at the same time. I was amazed at just how quickly the lotion soothed my skin. Using it at home and at the gym made a huge difference. There is no fragrance and the lotion has very soothing effects. The SPF is an added bonus. Having very sensitive skin that is easily irritated, particularly with heat and friction, this product worked wonders.

I highly recommend the Triple Protect Lotion and am in the process of placing an order so that I do not have to use anything else. Unfortunately there haven't been any packages on the clearance table over the past several months. I was a little disappointed that Santa forgot to deliver some this holiday season but the offer on Amazon for 3 tubes is very good.

A very good product and one of the few that combines excellent moisturization with good sun screen protection. I put this on after I shave and know that even if I am caught out in the sun without a hat (I have sun sensitive skin), I still have protection for a while.

This lotion is perfect for guys with sensitive skin or acne (or both). It immediately soothes razor burn and gets rid of those unsightly bumps and redness on your neck. It's also strong enough you keep your skin moisturized if you're using acne products that are tough in your skin (Benzoyl Peroxide, Salicylic Acid etc). Lastly, it's very mildly scented, so you don't smell like you've been taking your girlfriend's products.

My only word of caution is not to rely on it for sun protection if you are swimming or active. It's not sweat/water proof, so it will come off. Use an actual sunscreen if you are on the beach or playing sports.


!!!Here are some tips I've picked up having used this lotion for a while!!!

If you are prone to razor burn and irritation while shaving - try putting a little of this lotion on the night before. I've found this is especially helpful on my neck, minimizing razor bumps and redness after shaving.

Also, I know everyone is trying to save a little money, so when you have squeezed the last drops out of the tube DO NOT throw it away. These bottles are very easy to cut through so just grab some scissors and cut it in half. You'll find there's a couple days worth left in there that you can't get to otherwise.

I use this as my aftershave and it also provides protection from the sun. Other products for the face should have SPF factors. I use this daily, and my only gripe is the smell. Not offensive, but not clean either.

I'm a dude... as such, skin care is usually touted as gay, and products for men are few and far between, or they just rebrand some feminin product, and I smell like a fruit. (edible kind, maybe a melon). Anyhoo, I use this in Afghanistan every day, and I am very pleased with it. Fairly neutral scent, not greasy, and keeps my skin from burning... what else can I say? Oh, and I have pretty sensitive skin, and this has not caused any breakouts. Enjoy!

Dollar for dollar this is the best value face cream for men out today.

It's non-greasy and blends into the skin quickly. The SPF 20 protection is a step up from the usual 15 which is essential as I live in a tropical climate.

The tube packaging also ensures the product is fresh as well as making it easier to get the right amount every time.

There are a lot more expensive creams out there but none do such a good job as this.

I used this lotion and immediately developed rashes on my face. I didn't suspect this caused it, and went to see the dermatologist who gave me something to fix those.

It took me a couple of weeks to clear out my skin, and I started using this again. Within 2 days I developed even a worse rash than before. This time I figured it was this lotion.

Then I actually looked at the back of the lotion, and noticed a warning. "Stop using if a rash develops". I had no idea that using a lotion can cause such a bad rash. May be that's a standard warning on other lotions too, but I've never noticed it before. I didn't even think that's possible, but then my dermatologist said that it's probably the "anti aging" part of it that caused it.

Anyway, just a warning for someone who might be trying it out for the first time.

I have always been wary of creams that promise to do everything. However this product is really good and you immediately notice it when you have not put it on. great fan of this product!.

I like this product. I never believe the claims the products make but this product feels good on the face and the sunscreen should really help.
