Great boots at a reasonable price,

I really like the boots and they are very comfortable straight from the box. I use them at work and they have kept my feet dry in exterme weather. A couple of things that I am not pleased with are the laces and the rubber toe guards. The laces lasted about two months and had to be replaced. The nylon just could not withstand constant lacing and wore out. I replaced them with leather laces, so its good now. The rubber toe guards are beginning to peel back which could be due to me crawling in crawlspaces in my job, but I know I didn't catch them on anything to start the process. Overall, good boots and worth the investment!

Do not spray these boots,

I didn't pay much for these, so I shouldn't expect much. The boots seem to be constructed well and are reasonably comfortable, however they have one significant problem. When I applied a waterproofing spray, the rubber coating on the tongue and collar cracked and pealed severely. If you buy a pair of these, do not apply additional waterproofing spray, or take precaution to cover the tongue and collar. My guess is that these areas would have worn out quickly just based on my experience.
