Amy's Never Alone,
By
This review is from: Never Alone (Audio CD)
This has always been my favorite Amy Grant album. If someone is new to Amy Grant's contemporary Christian music I would probably choose her Age to Age album first and then maybe Unguarded, but Never alone is a great addition to your collection. Although it sounds very "late 70's early 80's" now, the words will still touch your heart. I bought the cassette back in the early 80's listened to it faithfully, I was in high school at the time; As an adult the lyrics have a completely different meaning to me now. My favorites are So Glad, Family, If I have to die, and especially All I ever have to be. Just recently I was struggling with my job and trying to figure out what I wanted to do with my life, and I listened to the words in the song and it was as if God was personally talking to me through the lyrics of the song. It is a very inspirational album.

By A Customer
This review is from: Never Alone (Audio CD)
I bought "Never Alone" when I was 13 years old. That was about 11 years ago. I have had the same cassette tape all this time. I've since bought the CD to keep up with the times. This CD has been a staple in my life. Through everything imaginable. The songs move me, inspire me, humble me and make me want to be a better Christian. I've yet to hear another christian album with so many awesome convicting songs. Especially "If I Have to Die". That one is my favorite. This one is a must have!!

Music That Moves,
This review is from: Never Alone (Audio CD)
NEVER ALONE may not have the high, polished sound that Amy's more recent albums exemplify, but that doesn't dilute the album's moving messages and majestic arrangements. From powerful songs about making Christian choices ("If I Have To Die," "Too Late") to quiet ballads about accepting God's will ("So Glad," "All I Ever Have To Be") to upbeat tunes that acknowledge the wonderful transformation of salvation ("Look What Has Happened To Me," "It's A Miracle"), this is all-around a great Christian album. Don't let the date throw you -- this album is worthy of any listener's purchase.
