If you and your friends are just too crazy for conventional board games, give I've Never - The Game of Truth a try. The object of the game is simple, players move around the board answering highly personal and potentially defamatory questions, and take shots or drink beer while playing. The questions are formatted as "I've Never...." (for example, "I've never been skinny-dipping"). If this is true for you, you get to move forward the designated number of spaces. If it's false, you pay the consequence (generally you must take a drink). Some spaces on the game board automatically force you to drink.
Many people will find the questions far too offensive and overly personal, and will be uncomfortable playing this game. If this is you, don't feel bad, you're not the only one. However, in a group of close friends, this game can be a total laugh riot. This game is perfect for a Bachelor or Bachelorette party, or just a regular party with a group of friends who are as crazy as you are.

The first time I played this game was with my co-workers at Happy Hour
and then again with my family members on our summer vacation at the beach house. Although we were already close and "thought" we knew a lot about each other-this game only made us closer. I don't remember laughing as hard as I did once secrets started to become revealed. The next morning at breakfast, no one could even make eye contact without laughing! This game is perfect to play with a group of friends or family and will keep you laughing all the way thru! It would make a perfect holiday gift-I highly recommend purchasing this game if you are up for some laughs!

I'm already going to be taking one-third of this deck out of the pile and making my own. I'm also changing the rules pretty significantly. Some cards, instead of making you drink if you've committed whatever act is on them, they have you quack like a duck or squeal like a pig. Some are horribly unfair, like return all the way back to the beginning of the board. Seriously, if you've ever been fired from a job, the rules are you have to return to start. But if you've ever forged your parents' signature on a check, you only move back one space. Isn't that ridiculous? Oh and if you've never voted, you move back 5 spaces. Refusing to participate in the electoral system is apparently less offensive than a felony.
Those 33% cards I mentioned? They ask dumb questions similar to have you ever voted, or fantasized about your teacher, or slept in the nude? Have you ever left the house without wearing underwear, or fantasized about being with a celebrity? I mean come on now, cut-cut-cut. Luckily, the other 66% are pretty inventive such as exhibitionism, illegal activities, and passing out in public. I've been playing a drinking game like this for years, so I thought it'd be a nice novelty to actually have a game people can flip cards and read. And it does it's job nicely. I just feel like if this game wasn't on sale, it'd be a tough buy. I've already had to change the rules due to some pretty unfair problems with it. All in all, it's a good starting point for an actual game you can pull out. The one major issue I've always had with the drinking game is that you can't pull out a box and say "we're playing this" -- you have to get those alcoholic buddies of yours and focus them for more than ten seconds at a time. I like it, but I don't love it. I love the drinking game I've been playing for years, and 66% of these cards are perfect for it, but I still need to pull out my printer and start taping new ones on here.

Ok, so a lot of people played a version of "I've never" at sleepovers growing up and then it turns into a drinking game. But however fun it is .. it depends on who you are playing with and how open they are. The boardgame takes that random element out of it and makes it HYSTERICALLY fun. The questions are over the top and really get people giggling.
The price is cheap in compared to a bunch of games.. and I break everything I touch and the game has held up. A must have for game night, bachelorette parties.. any day that ends in Y.. you get the idea.

This game was lots of fun for the girls weekend. It is a truth or dare style game with lots of room for drinking! Many of the spaces are take a drink, all drink, take a shot, or draw an I've never card. Lots of fun and you will find out more than you wanted to know about the other players!

Tons a fun for adults! The board game has a few warm up questions and then some naughty questions! In addition there are about 4-6 blank cards that you can write in your own truth or dare questions!! This game was THE HIGHLIGHT happy hour w/the ladies

If you're looking for that one "adults only" party game that really pushes the boundaries without pushing it over the edge, this is the game to get. Where Loaded Questions really relies on a level of unknown between the players, this one is great even if you're close friends; and it can be easily tailored to the comfort level of the group (which changes quickly, since it's a drinking game).
Educational? It seemed like it was almost impossible to walk away from it without knowing more about the people you're playing with. It's a great ice breaker, and once you get started even lets people who don't normally open up feel free to have a good time. The only complaint would be that you need to relax the drinking requirements a bit, since it doesn't pull punches on the amounts it calls for... you'd have to be a pro to get all the way through the game. Tailor the rules for your group a bit, keep an open mind, and this is the best party game I've played.

This is the most hilarious board game you could ever play! It's great at your next party, family gathering, or get together with close friends. I was completely entertained and enthralled with the secrets that were revealed about some of the people closest to me. I learned things about my brother-in-law, for instance, that I just never would have believed! What a nut!
Just a fun, amusing, down to earth game to play; I've played it numerous times, both with people who have played before, and newcomers, and it only get's better each time. And of course, it incorporates drinking in a way that only makes it more enjoyable. The secrets really start coming out only after a few turns. I highly recommend this game to anyone who enjoys a good board game and a lot of laughs. |
