Although the story wasn't flat out awful, there really wasn't anything wonderful about it, either. Repetitive adjectives (such as all the mewling that went on when someone was sleeping, hurting, thinking, making love. also the fact that nobody ever felt their stomach turn, everyone's stomach roiled, again and again and again.) I would rate this as a "two" and then I feel as though I am being generous.

Great book! Fabulous character development and terrific story plot. Couldn't pit the book down. Could have gave the story a more solid ending. The ending needs more fluff and details. As is, the ending is a bit thin, almost seems like Jhada got tired of writing. Wish she put more effort into filling out the ending. Other than that, everything else is absolutely awesome. Would definitely still recommend the book.

If you like stories about the lives of those that live in the parallel universe of of the alterworld then this one is for you! The characters have the immediate charisma and flair that make this book impossible to put down. A very unique perspective into the inner workings of the heirarchy and societal difficulties faced by the inhabitants of that lesser known world. I can't wait for the next book!

Erotic Horror isn't a genre I normally would give a second look. However, I do like a good vampire story, and Ms. Addams doesn't disappoint! Her spin on the manner in which her main character, Jilah, is inducted into the blood is refreshing and different!

The trials and tribulations that Jilah must go through as payment to her new patron deity led me to feel a certain empathy for her situation. Nothing comes for free!

Suffice it to say, I had a hard time putting the book down. But like with Jilah, there are some things that simply MUST be done in the course of daily events. I heartily recommend this book to any Fantasy aficionado! It is a must read for any fan of Anne Rice or any other vampire series!

Once it got going I couldn't put it down. Great characters and excellent plot. A welcome relief to a genre that occasionally gets stale. I can't wait till the next story!

The vivid details, characters and emotions make this book a pleasure to read. There is violence and gore but there is also sweetness and tenderness. Jhada brings her characters to life. I truly look forward to the next books in the series to see the journey of Dani/Jilah.

Vampire novels are my favorite. I have read so many series and different authors that sometimes I forget them or they quickly bleed into each other (ok, maybe only the "blah" ones tend to do that )... but this book is different. I wish I could explain what it was about this book that really caught and held my attention but it was a mix of so many things done right that I can't point to one thing.

I loved the main characters and the story...the writing, it was all good. There were a few too many secondary characters for me...but that's just personal preference.

I can't wait to get my hands on another book by this author.

This work is of a genre, and again, it is not. One can feel the longing, the desperate courage of the the central character. And this is what allows It Never Ends to breathe, as this character, and her story, could easily be extracted from its environment and be placed in any other - this book could be adapted as a western or a science fiction story, it could be set in the Renaissance or in suburban Ohio in 1953.

My advice: Allow yourself the freedom to wander in the main character's shoes, to experience her story and think of it as your own.
