3.0 out of 5 stars Not as good
The first book is a lot better than this one. I hated the ending. I hope there is a third, cause the ending to this still left you hanging.

4.0 out of 5 stars An Excellent Sequel, August 15, 2008
This review is from: Never Enough: A Novel (Paperback)
Celess is back trying to pick up the pieces of her life. Celess' best friend Tina was killed, and this incident has left her alone, suicidal and disfigured. She also lost the love of her life, Michael, when he learned of her devastating secret. Celess comes out of her depression and soon carves a new life for herself. She lands a contract at a top modeling agency that leads her to the big lights of Los Angeles and Hollywood. Celess has a new love and a new best friend named Si-Si. Life is looking good until a series of events leads Celess and Si-Si literally running for their lives. Will Celess and Si-Si live the life that they always wanted or will it all blow up in smoke?

Never Enough is a wonderful sequel to Secret Society by Miasha. Miasha once again dives readers into the turbulent life of Celess. You will see the transformation of Celess as she goes from being deeply depressed to being one of Hollywood's A-list celebrities. Readers will be swept away in the glitz and glamour of Celess and Si-Si as they make their way to the top. There is also a shocking ending that you will need to pay close attention to. Never Enough is full of the signature drama and head-spinning revelations that Miasha is known for.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great Novel, July 24, 2008
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Never Enough: A Novel (Paperback)
Great Novel but not excellent, I thought Secret Society was better. The sequel to Secret Scoiety, Celess returns better than ever after having a few operations that transform her into a complete women. After going under the knife and getting rid of the family jewels Celess is ready to live life after her near death incounter. Her skills of digging in men pocket and sleeping around to gain her way to the top leads her to Hollywood where she is a model/actress. Fate takes it's toll and Celess finds herself back in a dangerous surival game brought on by her past dealings with the men she either fell in love with or used to get what she wanted. I thought the story moved to fast and the excitment was gone once Celess no longer had to hide her secret anatomy. Never Enough was still a good read and I will still buy the next installment.

4.0 out of 5 stars Made it to hollywood, September 7, 2010
This review is from: Never Enough: A Novel (Paperback)
I will be honest, I believe the first part was better than the second but this book was not bad at all, it makes me want to read part 3 and find out what other drama Celess can get herself into, this book leaves you thinking theres some good drama ahead that you don't want to miss. You would think things would have calm down since she made it to hollywood, but the drama has just began. I even spoke about this novel and secret society in my blog, [...]

4.0 out of 5 stars Celess Didn't Learn A Thing, November 1, 2009

In a lot of ways this novel was better then it's prequel but I do have to say that I am disappointed that Celess didn't seem to learn much of anything after all she has been through. After her best friend was shot to death and Celess was shot in the head at close range after being found out in part one, we find her yet again knocking on death's door and when she pulls through she doesn't become a better person. All she did was learn to hide her secret better by getting tons of plastic surgery, she continues to sleep with men for personal gain, she becomes a drug addict, and she never once was honest with the men she was sexual with. It is hard for me to connect with her character, feel sorry for her, or want good things for her when she continues to deceive and hurt people. I am not talking about the general public, I am talking about the men she sexually entertains without revealing the fact that she is a man. Like the first novel, this one is also very unrealistic in regards to her sleeping around so much yet not ONE of her partners have the slightest inkling that something is different about her then other women. With all that said, I LOVE LOVE LOVE the new character Si Si. She is my favorite part of this book and I knew from the get go that she definitely had some secrets of her own. Without her, I don't know if I would have even finished this book. This novel felt rushed and was not very detailed. In the turn of a page three weeks sometimes passed but the light of this book always shined when Si Si came around. We are left with a cliff hanger on the very last page and I must say that I hope part 3 is all about Si Si aka Sienna.

5.0 out of 5 stars Can't wait to here what is next, September 23, 2008
This review is from: Never Enough: A Novel (Paperback)
I never would had thought that this was the sequel to Secret Society because haven't read that book now I know I have to read it. I have to say I loved this book second book I read by Miasha makes me want to get more of ther other books. Celess was a man trapped in a womans body that have been throw hell and back. Getting the nervous to change her life by getting her sex change and starting over sleeping her way up to the top. She had her pass following her as she got up to Hollywood and became well know. She found her best friend side kick Si Si how also had problems of her own as they find in each other sleeping there way up to the top to make ends meat. Overall this book was great. My month dropped at the end leaving me in aw at how it ended. Hoping to read more eye popping month dropping books by Miasha.
