Having been reading about some of the details of Alison's adventurous sex life over the lst couple years, I waited for this book eagerly. Sex Tips for Girls, the Next Step!

You could say she's the sex-Oprah, in a way, and I was interested to find out more about her Steadman.

I'm not sure what I was expecting, exactly, bullet points, diagrams, homework assigments? Well, this book isn't a manual in that sense.

What you get is great ideas to embroider upon, carefully chosen tid-bits of erotica (a generous portion of them) and a snapshot of her marriage that is both touching and furiously hot - 'Who said you could look like that?' - melt!

This book is definitely a good jumping off point, you could dip in and out of it, read it together, just read the fuction (ha, I meant fiction, but that's better - I just coined a term!). A lovely read.

Are you one of those persons that's struggling a bit with lack of variety in the bedroom? Before you decide on couples therapy, get your eyes, head, fingers, mouth, and legs wrapped around this book! You'll be so glad you did. Alison Tyler does an amazing job of exploring various sexy frolicks to help couples add extra spice into their relationships. Before you know it, you'll be glowing from head to toe, because you and your partner will never have the same sex twice again.

I bought this book because my husband is on deployment and I needed a few ideas to try and make his homecoming one of surprise and new adventures. This is the first time I've read a book written in this type of context and I was completely amazed. I've learned many interesting things that I'd like to try with my husband. I've actually started a couple and believe me, so far it's doing a pretty good job of entertaining both of us. (Can't wait til he actually gets home) I highly recommend this to anyone looking to spice up their sex life, or just to have a very entertaining and thrilling read....

This book is a great way to get ideas to spark your imagination. Tyler offers advice on things to try, like phone sex, role playing, lust letters, and a whole lot more. She uses stories from other authors as examples in each chapter, then follows each chapter with a whole short-story. I know some appear in other collections, the others may be from other books as well, but I don't know.

The tone of the book keeps it from feeling like an instruction manual. There are 17 short stories and lots of snippets. Even without a partner to share this book with, there is still a lot to enjoy and learn from to fuel your fantasies.

I love this book! It's such an unusual, creative set up. Bite size pieces of advice, insight, anecdotes,and snippets of fiction. Makes it very reader friendly to put down and pick up as busy life interferes. Also makes it easy to read " just one more section" before you have to go to sleep or run that errand. And with a corrolating story for each chapter it's like getting a prize at the end of each section. A really fun, sexy way for couples to get in touch with their steamy sex life again if it has flagged or to rev the engine even faster if you're still going strong.

I loved this book, which was brilliant in its simplicity! Alison Tyler is a writer of erotica and editor of erotic anthologies. For fifteen years, she has also been in a monogamous relationship "filled with extreme, kinky, crazy, never-have-the-same-sex-twice sort of sex (from the intro)." Never Have the Same Sex Twice--part how-to guide and part erotic anthology--is filled with simple tips about how anyone can make their own sex lives as spicy as Tyler and her long-time partner do.

What I like best, though, is that Tyler does not rely on exposition to explain the variety of ways to have fabulous sex; instead, she introduces each of her tips briefly, without over-explaining, and then vividly illustrates, with erotic stories and excerpts, a variety of ways folks have lived out and fantasized about those very suggestions. In doing so, she entices the reader's own erotic imaginations, encouraging us, by example, to fantasize about and create our own hot sex scenes with our own partners. The chapters are short and easy (not to mention hot!) to read, and each chapter is followed by an erotic story to illustrate the theme of the chapter. Consequently, the book itself keeps the reader engaged, and provides generous food-for-thought about ways to keep our sex lives as hot and engaging as the book itself.

Some of the erotic stories were arousing, and as such were effective in helping get the sexual imagination going. Some of the stories were not suitable for many people (such as homosexual sex). I am not squeamish about erotica, but I did not like some of the stories because, as another reviewer wrote, "they crossed the line" for me into unacceptably perverse. Some of the stories were erotically acceptable, but the writing was not much better than typical paperback pulp erotica.

Some of the ideas for spicing up a couple's sex life were interesting and useful, however. I believe some folks will find the suggestions helpful. However, if you're a monogamous heterosexual couple who accepts each other fantasizing about heterosexual sex, this may not be the ideal book for you: it suggests more than monogamous heterosexuality and pushes into what many would consider perverse.

By melting together delicious erotica and solid advice on sex and love, Alison baked up a creation fit for a sexual gourmet.

Simple advice such as playing dress-up may seem common sense to some of her more adventurous readers but to those who are just diving into spicing up their relationship, her suggestions, stories and tips might be just the thing to set their passions ablaze.

Although the book is written from a proudly monogamous point of view, it is non-judgemental and very supportive of other relationship types, such as polyamoury. Alison writes freely about her own experiences which come from a strong, long term marriage with her husband, however I have found tips that will help all my love relationships.

The erotic stories from a variety of authors serve to underscore and highlight the themes of each chapter, adding some additional fun and heat to each. The erotica is also wonderful to read with a lover after completing a section...before trying the ideas yourself...

A great book and a must have for anyone's collection.

Never Have The Same Sex Twice, edited by Alison Tyler is one of the best "self help" (pun intended) books that I've read in a long time. The stories are designed to excite couples (or singles) and encourage you to try different things in the bedroom. I love the way the book is put together in that it's not just a clinical "how to" manual. Ms. Tyler has a very good eye for just the right story to convey what each chapter is about, whether it be dreams, flirting or phone sex. I highly recommend this book to anyone who wants to add a little twist and excitement to their bedroom antics!!

Alison Tyler's "Never Have the Same Sex Twice" is an easy to follow, how-to book that couldn't be less like a traditional how-to book. It weaves information and hints right along with snippets of sexy stories to help illustrate her points. At the end of each chapter, a short story brings the theme to life and provides a little extra inspiration. As a bonus, you can also read them to your partner for some added sexy fun.

A sexy self help and an anthology in one. How can you lose? Featuring some of the hottest erotic fiction writers along with Ms. Tyler herself, there is something for every couple in this book.
