The work by this author grabs you and won't let go as he leads you through his own brand of humor. One minute you're laughing until tears begin to fall. Underneath the comedy is a life made bearable by a quick and ready wit. Some of the humor is subtle and at other times it's a whirlwind and you're caught in the middle. Worth reading more than once.

Rebeccasreads recommends NEVER PLAY LEAPFROG WITH A UNICORN as a total change of pace -- as in a non-stop stampede of naughty, heartbreaking & giggle-inducing dialogues & troubles.

Not sure if it's part memoir or wishful remembering, however, it is a mad rush of breathless scenes as seen through the eyes of the son of a miner with quite a lot of profound insights skating on the thin ice of the insanity that afflicts dysfunctional families.

Wrap your mind around NEVER PLAY LEAPFROG WITH A UNICORN, & see if you can look at your own life, without laughing.

Not all books have to be serious, & this one could stand up as a routine at a comedy club.

this book was quirky and funny even in the dark story line. i loved it! i am usually a fairly slow reader but i read this book in 1 sitting! it was laugh out loud funny. a very easy read but a great read! i would love to read more from this author!

I love to read. I hate to waist time on a bad book. This one, I couldn't put down! Writer F. W. Bosworth examines gut-wrenching material, viewed through a young boys eyes, and takes the reader on a crazy, hilarious, bizarre journey to unbelievable heights that never stops being entertaining. If I was a film producer, I's snap up the rights. Not only was I treated to a wonderful, inspiring book, but the writing is ripe. I could envision every scene, every chapter full of antics that lead to unexpected places. I rate this book 5 stars. I really enjoyed it. I didn't want it to end! Hopefully a hit movie some day.

This book is a true masterpiece. I usually fall asleep before I can turn the first page of any book I read. This book kept me up way past my bedtime! I couldn't put it down. I was laughing aloud then reduced to tears within minutes of either occurance. I have shared this book with numerous friends, all of whom loved it as much as I did. I will read this book again and again throughout my lifetime. The comforting wit, humor and wisdom this book affords its readers will be something you will, undoubtedly, want to share with the rest of the world. Thank you Mr. Bosworth.

this is a heart wrenching glimpse into a young boy's life growing up in an abusive and dysfunctional family, it has incredible humor and resilience that will not let you put the book down till your done.Its made me think of my life and how i grew up and the need to put it to paper. Cant wait to read the next one..This is the first book i have finsh reading in 6 years I always loss intrest in the book.

I have to say, unfortunately, that I can relate to almost every situation and character in Frank's book. He has a quick and quirky sense of humor only people who have really put up with a lot of drama in their lives have.

I also have to say each chapter brought a new smile, laugh, and tear. I loved reading about the boy (almost a Lil Dick), his all female family bush, and of course about his lil back dad.

It's really, TRULY a great read--although I wish it hadn't ended so abruptly. I'm hoping and praying that enough attention to this wonderful writer will allow him the joy of 'professional' author status; just so I can read more!!

In other words I highly recommend this book to everyone! :)

You can't have my copy, you will have to buy your own good! HILARIOUS!

This is an outstanding book! I laughed, I cried, my soul weeped for the young character! F.W. Bosworth brought me into the world of his life as a child and allowed me his inner thoughts. What a remarkable ride it was! All I can say is I want more from this amazing author! LEAPFROG is a great read! I cannot recommend it highly enough if you could give it more stars I would!! Get the book! I am about to recommend it to friends and hold onto it and read it again!
