This is one interesting disc. Equal parts Penguin Cafe Orchestra, Yann Tiersen, Djam Karet and Spike Jones, this almost-entirely-instrumental disc ranges from playful vibes over drums & percussion, to bass & organ themes, to something resembling maybe a jazz version of Nino Rota? Throughout the music is market fresh, unmannered and refreshingly unpretentious.
After two albums (in 2003 & 2005), their website hasn't been updated in two years now so maybe they're defunct. That would be entirely too bad.
