This mini album is an appetizer of what's to come because they have now signed to Rise Records and will release their first full length album in the fall of 2004. I listened to this band already last summer when I had 2 songs on a mixtape recorded from the website kingsofar.com,I played them a lot and especially like their guitarsound the most because it's so big,crystal clear and supermelodic. Think U2 but in their early days and then add some 21 century edgy rocknroll into it and viola!.....Still Life Projector,I can't get enough of hearing the title track "Never look back" and "Tragedy hero" which also is a standout track. If I should be a little critical,the drumsound is a bit dry and plastic in some strange way and I hope they will work on it til the next album,however it doesn't sink this album coz the rest is completely satisfying. They've got a cool name,cool songs and best of all....a future ahead that will bring more to the world of Still Life Projector.
