this artist is the greatest and the only reason why not to many people has heard of her is because she died at an early age. If this lady would have lived long enough she would have been the Queen of soul, also the soul deva and that is no joke i have everything she has ever made and this is a 5 stars and then sum cd......

GIRLFRIEND AND GUYFRIEND. I PURCHASED THE ORIGINAL "YOUR PRECIOUS LOVE" LP ON VINYL IN 1975. THIS GIRL, IS NOT TO BE SHOOKED!! WHEN "HYPNOTIZED" HIT THE AIRWAVES IN 1968, I WAS IN SAN FRANCISCO FOR THE FIRST TIME! THEY PLAYED HER VERY LATEST RELEASE "WHAT HAVE I DONE" BACK TO BACK WITH "HYPNOTIZED." IF, "ARETHA" WAS THE QUEEN OF SOUL...THEN, LINDA JONES SHOULD HAVE BEEN: THE PRINCESS! WAITING FOR HER TO ABDICATE!!

.. Ms. Linda Jones is even out of Aretha Franklin's reach. Now, for a soul singer to be above THE Aretha Franklin .. that sister HAS to really be something else. And... that sister is without a doubt, Ms. Linda Jones.

I never thought I'd see the day were I'd be exalting another sistersoul over THE Aretha Franklin, cause I considered sister Retha to be THE standard.. but that's ALL OVER now. This is all I'm gonna say on it, cause there really aren't any words to describe Jones' kind ability. It's just SICK! NEVER have we heard a voice like this one, and probably never will again.

I recently purchased the Never mind the quality... Feel the soul CD. Well let me say that this, live recording doesn't do justice to the vocal effect our musical experience of Linda Jones efforts I wish I knew what I was buying As Titles go think Twice before you purchase this one. I love vintage music and my quest continues for a respectable recording of Linda Jones Greatest Hits to include "thats when I stop loving you" Call me the drummer yall

When asked who her favorite singer was Aretha said Linda Jones. Yes, she was the truth.

I love this cd!!! I had never heard, "That's When I Stop Loving You. What a beautiful song!!!!!!!!!!!! The lyrics are awesome, that's the kind of love that i'm talking about. I first heard Linda's song Hynotized on a 45. I have been a fan of hers every since. I wish that all the songs she ever recorded could be made available to us. I would spend my last dime! This woman had a voice that could not be touched by anyone in her era and has not since been topped. I read the booklet inside and they were concerned with we the listeners being able to her the audience, who cares about the audience? The way she somersaults her voice is truly amazing, she takes it back and forth, up and down and all in between. I say, if you are a true Linda Jones fan, please don't miss this opportunity to own this cd. You will be missing out on something special!! THANK YOU, MISS LINDA JONES!!!

What can i say about linda jones that everyone who has heard her sing don't already know.she was the real queen of soul.That's when i'll stop loving you is my all time favorite.She has another one out called greatest hits 1990.If anyone knows where i can get this one please let me know.

Glad to know Linda Jones is remembered. I only had a 20 year old cassette copy of my album which was lost. Can't wait to get the CDS!!!!

For those fortunate enough to have heard her music, there is nothing new I can say, you know already. This womans voice sent chills up and down my spine. I couldn't hear enough of her magnificent voice. I first heard her in 1971, and I eagerly await delivery of my new CD so I can get another fix. It's your turn to get addicted!
