WELL RESEARCHED HISTORICAL FICTION, January 3, 2001

This review is from: Never the Same Again: A Young Woman's Story of Life in the Blackstone Valley in the 1820s (Paperback)
An orhaned family of 10 youngsters struggle to stay together during a period in American history that sees westward expansion, canals being built, religious tolerance being struggled with. History, romance and a good picture of what life was like in a small New England town in the 1820s. Great for young adult readers.

I am a friend of Mrs. Masso, and I read her book after she told me about it. I found it great; full of descriptions. It's a bit hard to get into, though, but other than that, I highly suggest this book!
