The return of Ms. Arena.,

This is the first club track from the Australian superstar singer since "Chains" was mixed by Tony Moran . This single is from the remixer Ray Roc who has done mixes for Cher. This single comes with 5 full mixes and 2 radio mixes. The Radio edit(3:44) and Original Extended Mix(9:00) are excellent house mixes. The song is one of a woman who will not be put in a bad relationship and is ready to not look back at the man who hurt her. This mix and the Chillout mix(6:00) and Filterheadz Luv Tina Mix(8:00) give off the drama of that and more without going over the top. She sounds like a 1970's disco diva(France Joli/Teri DeSario) in that she lets the words and meaning get her point across and not theatrics. The best mix for me is the Johnny BudzBreaks radio edit(4:04) and 12" mix(6:46). It's like 1980's electronic/freestyle type music. AWESOME! This is soooo good on so many levels. Then you get the Max Reich remix(8:53) which is a nice house mix.Just a great cd single that hopefully give Tina a chance to come back to the US with a new cd. A+++++++++. Hit number 4 for 2 weeks on Billboard's Club Play Chart!!!!

The different mixes of this single have been favourites to DJs across the nation. This single recently reached #1 on the US dance charts and it is well deserved. It's catchy beat, the bittersweet lyrics, and an excellent set of remixes make it one of the Spring-Summer dance anthems without a doubt. It is great to see Tina Arena having another hit in the US, given that she has a lot of talent that has been (unfortunately) ignored due to poor promotion on the part of her label (with their misguided attempts to turn her into the "next Celine Dion," instead of taking advantage of her charm and vocal power). The best mix is definitely DJ Tiesto's. This is one CD single that is worth buying as it will remain a house classic for years to come. I only hope that Tina gets a new US deal after the success that this track has enjoyed.

"Never" reminds me of the dance/pop/R&B sound and feel of Everything But the Girl's song "Missing" which was a great track fast or slow. And this showed in the remixes. Unfortunately, this CD does not follow the same path as "Missing." The remixes are either uninteresting slight variations or are laden with techno sounds that contribute very little to enhancing either the bittersweet melancholy tone or improving the danceability of the original. The flaw seems to be that the remixers failed to recognize that the major selling point of this song is Tina Arena's voice. Instead of focusing on that, or perhaps complementing it, they drown it with boring background beats. Too bad. I bought this CD thinking I wasn't that interested in the other Roc Project songs. Now I wish I had paid a little more for the full album or maybe the import version which comes with a video. My recommendation: Pass on this one and go for the full album unless you've heard all these remix tracks and know you'll like the CD.

This song is fantastic! Love the Original Extended mix. HEAVEN!I could listen to it over & over -- and have since I bought it a year ago. (My other favorite track was also featured on the Season 3 soundtrack for Queer As Folk, FROM THE INSIDE by Gioia Bruno. Also HEAVEN!) BUY THIS RECORD!

SUPREME DANCE TRACK,

This is one of the best dance track ever release in the past few years, wow Tina Arena injects such melancolic vibration and her voice it's unmistakeable SUPREME, the lyrics are other great + for this winning track, the remixes are well done. But the original steals the show, and it's one of those track you can CRY and DANCE at the same time, this is PURE PLEASURE.

Originally, I heard this song on the Queer as Folk, the third season, soundtrack. It was the Tiesto mix, a faster tempo of the version released. Then, I heard the original version through a friend of mine and loved this one just as well.
