Never there singles just not quite there, January 14, 2009

The singles for Never There are not really showcases of the bands bsides that is for sure. Cd 1 (as in the product description here) gives you the video, the meandering kind of going nowhere song cool blue reason and another live version of Is This Love (also found on the Sheep to to Heaven single), which is a terrific live version of this song.
Cd 2 is also available out there with the following tracks
1. Never there
2. The distance
3. You part the waters [live]

Here you get a studio version of The Distance (released 2 years prior), the video for said song (not included on any other releases, but why do it on this one?) the big drawcard to this 2nd verson is the live version of You Part The Waters. you do not gt live cake songs anywhere else but the singles and most, if not all sound so much better than their studio counterparts.
Overall if you can get these 2 cds cheap, then I recommend just for the videos and the 2 live songs as these 2 live songs never made it onto Bsides and Rarities.
