Highly recommended for Christian Homeschool families
This is an excellent book! The author also has a homeschool curriculum for pre-school/kindergarten reading and math called Christ Centered Curriculum. The whole thing is based specifically on biblical scripture and developing character. It is all about God's word and teaching young children the truth of God's word from a young age. Her book supports all that she knows...

This book was recommended by a friend of mine who has kids in homeschooling. This book was so boring that I've never finished reading.

This is an excellent book! The author also has a homeschool curriculum for pre-school/kindergarten reading and math called Christ Centered Curriculum. The whole thing is based specifically on biblical scripture and developing character. It is all about God's word and teaching young children the truth of God's word from a young age. Her book supports all that she knows about biblical principles and what children are capable of, the importance of teaching them to read early and the power of the written word in their lives. It is so positive in so many ways. This sums up all that I believe about the importance of homeschooling and has encouraged me to be the homeschool parent that I desire to be and I'm not even done reading the book yet.
