WOW! Monica, What an aftermath to "Heart's Desire", May 29, 2000
This review is from: Never Too Late For Love (Arabesque) (Mass Market Paperback)
First, if this is a "firt-time-read" of one of Monica Jackson's books, you MUST READ FIRST: "Heart's Desire". This book, "Never Too Late For Love" is the follow-up to Heart's Desire. Heart's Desire provides all the background information that will enable you to appreciate this book.
Monica, congratulations for your presentation of this story. Tiffany, Dante and Jenny Eastman who went through that horrid ordeal with the late Sidney Eastman was enough to make anyone wonder how they would manage after all that drama.
Here, we are presented, with the mere fact how when you don't handle those unresolved issues like abuse and alcoholism within the family, not seeking any "family counseling" all it does it suppress it until it burst. Well, this book illustrates all the aftermath drama that comes with the territority. Monica Jackson, so profoundly, gives us a very smooth easy read, some very juicy intimate scenes between 47 y/o Tiffany and 55 y/o Jason (WOW! ), much humor with one of Jason's son's and his many women problems, family matters, fears, twists and turns you won't believe and finally the outcome.
See, I can't give away the story. Just look at it like this, if you like stories that have all the drama life can deal sometimes to you and you want to see how the issues get resolved, then Read This Book. The book brought me laughter, sadness and then a smile, when you finish you'll understand why.
Now Monica, I sense another sequel to this, I could be wrong, but it seems like Jenny and Jared?
Thanks Monica for bringing back characters from Heart's Desire, A Magical Moment and The Look of Love, it was fun reading about the whole crew!
Check out these other books by Monica: Heart's Desire, A Magical Moment, Midnight Blue, Love's Celebration and The Look of Love.

A Love Story for Second-Timers, June 26, 2000
By A Customer
This review is from: Never Too Late For Love (Arabesque) (Mass Market Paperback)
This romance tale is incredibly "on the mark". Monica Jackson "put herself out", with this book. "Never Too Late For Love", a realistic love story gives energy to singles over 40. Many African American romances features characters in their mid-to-late twenties and early thirties. Understandably when people meet and connect in the mid-life stage, they have issues unresolved and unfortunate skeletons "shaking their bones" to wreck havoc and make some noise. Jackson tells a sexy, down-to-earth tale that many romance fans have been wishing and craving for. Tiffany Eastman and Jason Cates have a great deal of flame and fire from the on-start and mature romance readers are in for a treat. I had to put off some much needed chores for this one, and I have not regretted reading this book uninterrupted yet. Monica Jackson has her best romance to-date, and "Never Too Late For Love" has put her at the top of my list of romance authors.

Drama. Drama and more Drama!, June 21, 2000
This review is from: Never Too Late For Love (Arabesque) (Mass Market Paperback)
Monica has done it again. She has proven that there is love at all ages and stages in life.
This story of Tiffany and Jason was awesome. Their love for each other was hot, but they had some unresolved issues that they both had to face to move on.
Tiffany and her kids went through alot in her first marriage (Heart's Desire)and there was things that she had to face in order to truly open up to Jason. And Jason had his on issues to deal with.
There are many shocking and eye opening scenes in this book. It was good to learn about some of the characters in Monica's other books.
I can not wait for Jenny's story and I would like to see a story on Jarad and Tiffany's son Dante'.
Hats off to Monica once again, Good work!
