Ben Badwin is as awesome as he promised to be~,
By
This review is from: Never Too Much (Paperback)
Ben Badwin has it BAD. Hes just met his neighbor, and Sierra Murphy screamed challenge at him with every breath she took. She was curvy, sexy and sweetand everything he was looking for in a woman. At least, everything he was looking for to seduce in a woman. Having her open her business up just across the street from his motel and diner couldnt have been better luck. Now if she can just get her to agree its the best thing that could happenSierra Murphy had moved to Gillespie to open her landscape business, and to become a success. Shes spent the last few years trying to make up for a mistake shed made in the past, a mistake that still haunted her today, and all she wanted was to be left alone. She didnt need or want a man. Sex was overrated anyway, as far as she was concerned. But she just couldnt believe it when she saw the sexily perfect Ben Badwin, and realized that he was determined to convince her that they needed to get together. And when a storm blows out her window, and forces her to bunk over at his place, he does convince her that there may be more to this sex thing than shed previously seen Sierra and Ben are just perfect for one another. Sierra is working to build herself into a competent businesswoman, but already shes a woman of determination and spirit. And Ben is still struggling to iron out his feelings over family matter that have to do with a domineering grand mother, and be a success at his motel and diner. While hes always made time for womenfor he loves them all, any shape, and size, any agehes never had a woman impact his life the way Sierra has. She makes him long for more. Lori Foster has delivered in spades for those of us who were waiting for the second Badwin brother. Ben is an incredibly sexy, sweet and determined hero who shes breathed life into on the pages of this story. Wow, where can I find one? And Sierra is just the perfect mix of vulnerability and strength, making us both admire and like her. The sexy scenes steam up the pages, and the wonderful love story makes this an incredible read. Kudos, Lori for another top notch read!

Lori Foster Has Done It Again!,

This review is from: Never Too Much (Paperback)
Lori Foster has a reputation as an author who brings the reader sexy, steamy, hot romances with wonderful, well developed characters. She does it again with this wonderful book! I loved Ben and Sierra, they were a perfect match. It was a fun and sexy romance that I didn't want to see end. Ben is a sexy motel/diner owner who sees Sierra and wants her immediately. Sierra is a sassy, tough women who is busy getting her landscaping business off the ground and doesn't need a man messing up her life. It's up to Ben to change Sierra's mind.... You can't go wrong with this book.

Whew! Hot stuff; great partner book to TOO MUCH TEMPTATION,
By
This review is from: Never Too Much (Paperback)
Ben Badwin wants a woman. Now. Not just any woman, but one that will pose a challenge. Not that he's conceited, but Ben is uninterested in the women constantly throwing themselves at him. He wants the thrill of the chase. He gets that and more in the form of his new neighbor, Sierra Murphy.Sierra wants nothing to do with tangled up involvements, especially with a man like Ben Badwin whose good looks should make him illegal. Instead, she's concentrating on getting her new landscaping business off the ground. Ben's sexy looks and gentlemanly ways soon have Sierra in a state of constant arousal and confusion. A recent divorce from a very controlling man has made Sierra very leery of most men. What's a woman to do? Well, if the woman is a character in one of Lori Foster's books, you know she won't be in a state of constant arousal and confusion for too long! NEVER TOO MUCH is a bit of a switch from Lori's usual fare. Oh, not in the sexy, steamy department, but how Sierra and Ben get to that point. Who says only women are teases?? I was hooked from the first page and could have very easily finished this in one sitting - if real life had let me. Ms. Foster has an uncanny ability to create characters that grab onto readers' hearts and don't let go until the end. Even then, you're sorry to turn the last page. NEVER TOO MUCH is a delightful tale about two very strong-minded and strong-willed people, each with their own set of issues that must be resolved before they can finally commit to each other. Some scenes are heartbreaking while others, especially where Ben's mother and grandmother are involved, are tender or hysterical. The sub romance between Ben's mother and Sierra's friend and coworker is just as satisfying as the main romance. I highly recommend NEVER TOO MUCH as classic Lori Foster with a little bit of a twist. A sequel to TOO MUCH TEMPTATION, this tale can be read alone, but my advice is to read TMT first to get the whole effect of all the characters and how their relationships develop.

Too Much?? Not Enough!!,
By A Customer
This review is from: Never Too Much (Paperback)
Wow, I guess I am in the minority in rating this book. I was very disappointed by this follow up to Too Much Temptation (which I enjoyed). I have read many LF books, and usually love every one of them. This one disappointed me completely. Where were the usual sexy, fun characters? Where were the sizzling hot love scenes between the two main characters? The secondary characters of Ben's mother, Brooke, and Kent were the best part of the book. I was more interested in their story (which was minor) than in Ben and Sierra's. Finally, the ex-husband revenge plot was too much for even me to believe! I would recommend every other one of Ms. Foster's books except this one, unfortunately.

Lori Has Done It Again!!,

First off for those of you that like your novels steamy, hot, and sexy you will still find this within the pages of this story just not with the normal intensity that you normally find with other books by this author.Ben and Sierra's story is really multi-layered story and Ms. Foster takes the time to build the story between the two characters and does not have them jumping into bed right off. I feel that this adds to the story and the tension between the two main characters. Ben loves women and he has a great respect for them. Sierra has been taught by her one and only experience that men can be cruel and hurtful. Her ex-husband was abusive not only physically but mentally as well. He father did not care about her situation and turned his back on her. What sane woman would not be careful? Ms. Foster is just being true to how a person would act in a similar situation. Sierra is on her own and alone with the exception of her friend Kent. Together they are starting her landscaping business. Ben's own hotel is across the street from Sierra and the sparks fly between the two from the start. Noah and Grace as well as "Aggie" are back in this story about love, family, and trust. Together Ben and Sierra find out that loving someone does not weaken them and that trust is just as important as friendship. The love scenes are hot and steamy but are part of the story not a vehicle to add filler. The side story of Kent and Ben's mother Brooke is also fun to read. This story is just as good as the first story "Too Much Temptation" and brings back some great characters. You won't want to miss this story.

Good, but Too Much Temptation was better,

After meeting Ben in Too Much Temptation, I was looking forward to his story. He was so much fun! And, unfortunately, it is his fun-loving, mischievous nature that had me a bit disappointed in him. I had thought he was smarter than he appears at the start of this book. Ben's relentless pursuit of Sierra, regardless of her wants or needs, his treating her like she's some sort of game to him, made me dislike Ben for a time. Until her ex-husband shows up and Duh! he finally figures out that Sierra has real, grown-up problems and she (if not he) has been trying to act like an adult, trying to protect those she cares about from her powerful and nasty ex. But once he starts thinking with his brain instead of his you-know-what and his protective instincts kick in, Ben redeemed himself and I found myself liking him again. But actually, the hotter (though mostly unseen) relationship is the one between Sierra's friend Kent and Ben's prim and proper mother, Brooke. Man, the heat those two generated - especially Kent's naughty mouth (the things he said to her!) you wanted to see more of them together. And Ben finally resolves his rocky relationship with his difficult grandmother who was determined to make him accept that he is, indeed a part of her family.

NEVER TOO MUCH is finally here!,

This review is from: Never Too Much (Paperback)
Ooh la la! Ben Badwin, the sinful and sexy black sheep brother of Noah from TOO MUCH TEMPTATION now has his own story. We get to learn more on what makes him tick and most importantly... What kind of woman would Lori Foster create for Ben to fall in love with? NEVER TOO MUCH opens on a sultry night. The sky is restless and so is Ben. He needs a woman, but not just any woman. He wants one who would be interesting and challenging, and suddenly, in the dark of the night, he spots her. His new neighbor, Sierra Murphy. She intrigues Ben and she is definitely different from other women; especially since she lets him know that she is not interested in him. Ah, but the sultry night turns stormy, and she is forced to rely on him to help her out. He provides her with shelter and food that night and they embark on a relationship that is shaky. He wants her, but she is resistant to a relationship that is more than just friendship. Ben suspects that Sierra is hiding something. Something that scares her and may threaten her life. She won't tell him, but being the stubborn (and macho) man that he is, he is determined to find out what it is. He works on gaining her trust while romancing her and eventually learns what it is. With his help and that of others, her problem is resolved, and they are free to live and love for the rest of their lives. Another part of NEVER TOO MUCH was the secondary romance between Brooke, who is Ben's mother and Kent, Sierra's business partner. It was fun and blended well with the other plot. Also, we saw more of Noah, Grace and Agatha from TOO MUCH TEMPTATION. NEVER TOO MUCH is not heavy on suspense, but does have a touch of uncertainty in parts as to what was going to happen to characters. Certainly there are parts that are funny and warm...trademarks of Lori Foster stories, and of course, her personal brand of sensuality that makes readers come back for more and more of her books. As with many of her stories, grab something to cool you down with when you read this. I truly enjoyed the story and recommend this to others who enjoy a good sensual romance mixed with fun, family and a good plot that with a touch of suspense. Pick up NEVER TOO MUCH as your next book to read.

Disappointing,
By A Customer
This review is from: Never Too Much (Paperback)
I am a big fan of Lori Foster and after reading "Too Much Temptation" I was really looking forward to reading Ben's story. Unfortunately, the book failed to meet the standard set by its predecessor. The story was slow to develop and for the first time ever, I found myself bored with a Lori Foster book and wishing it to come to a quick end.

Quite Good,

Ben Badwin, brother of Noah from Too Much Temptation, is a sexy, single and a successful business owner but he is lonely. Not that he can't have his pick of women, they throw themselves at him, but he wants a challenge. When Sierra starts a landscaping business next door, he knows this is the woman for him dirty clothes, messy hair and all. Sierra has never dated or even been interested in another man since she divorced her abusive ex husband so she is startled to find herself attracted to Ben. What surprises her even more is how nice and gentle Ben can be , but when her troubled ex starts bothering her she knows he would only cause trouble for Ben. Ben knows that if he can wear down Sierra's defenses she'll be his but what he can't figure out is why she fights it at all...when they come together physically sparks will fly!
This was a really good, hot story....however, I was expecting as good as Too Much Temptation and it isn't quite there. Still if I weren't comparing it to another book, I would be happy.

Boring, predictable, erotica?,
By A Customer
This review is from: Never Too Much (Paperback)
First off this book states on the cover that it is erotica. Published by the well known Brava line that specializes in erotica. Do not trust either the label, or publishing line. This book is as sensual as milk toast. The writing is stilted, predictable, and at worst boring. I would not recommend a trip to library to RENT this book let alone buy it.
