Francine has done it again with another great romance novel. Theda and Hunter were childhood sweethearts who were separated in college due to an illness in his family. She later married another and so did he but their deep love for each other never ended. She becomes a widow and he later divorced so he went back to their hometown to win her back and explain why he didn't contact her after he left. Anyway, his ex-wife decides she wants him back and uses their son and a woman who despises Theda to try and break them up. I won't get into more of the story but it is a winner. I love the fact that Francine included characters in this story from her pervious books and that really makes the story more interesting. I submitted my review 9/23 but somehow is was removed. Put it back our there because I wanted others to see my 5 stars rating and for Ms. Craft also because she was the one who let me know it was removed.

5.0 out of 5 stars I loved it!!!, January 25, 2009
This review is from: Never Without You...Again (Kimani Romance) (Mass Market Paperback)
In the latest literary effort from romance novelist Francine Craft comes "Never Without You ...Again", this will definitely become a classic. The author does a spectacular job of telling this tale.

"Never Without You ...Again", tells a story of lovers Theda Coles and Hunter Davis who should have like a good romance novels rode off into the sunset but due to circumstances, the two had to go their separate ways. Well, the flame never died for either party and the author doesn't disappoint with her incredible gift for grabbing you the reader by the hand and giving you a front row seat into all the feelings and emotions of these characters.

The characters are so realistic and relatable that you truly feel as if you know them personally and with the destined lovers to the jilted ex and the older woman looking to get her groove back the authors delivers in every area. Readers will not be disappointed with this novel. Author Francine Craft has done it again for her creative ability to take the reader to the point of no return, in this case not wanting to put this magnificent book down.

Readers will be captivated as well as entertained with "Never Without You ...Again" and upon completion really understand that when dealing with matters of the heart anything and everything is possible.

Kudos to Francine Craft for a literary job well done

4.0 out of 5 stars Never Without You Again, November 30, 2007
This review is from: Never Without You...Again (Kimani Romance) (Mass Market Paperback)
Francine Crafts presents another one of her trademark romances.

Theda Coles a school administrator is on a quest to become principal before her one true love and a ex-s mother enters her life and turns it up side down.

Hunter Davis is a photographer that comes to town in search of a love that was never forgotten. Although he married and had a son, he never forgot where his heart truly belonged.

As Hunter and Theda decide to travel the path of rediscovery; they are encountered with obsticles at every turn. A meddling neighbor and an ex wife makes their journey back to each other a living hell.

Ms. Craft has crafted a novel that allows the romantic at heart to blend into the pages and discover the feel of real romance. If you desire a true romance, then Never Without You Again is the book for you.

3.0 out of 5 stars Not Ever Again..., November 6, 2007
This review is from: Never Without You...Again (Kimani Romance) (Mass Market Paperback)
Dr. Theda Coles and Hunter Davis were high school sweethearts, and spent their early 20s together basking in the glow of their love for each other with plans to be together forever. But life's circumstances changed all of that in a twinkling of an eye, forcing both of them to live different lives until more life changes brought them back together again.

When Theda and Hunter meet again, they bump into each other literally at the high school where Theda is a guidance counselor. Their meeting takes them on a fast trip back down memory lane, rekindling the love they never lost for each other while trying to work through past hurts, past fears and present threats to their relationship and reputations in the small city of Crystal Lake.

Will Theda and Hunter be able to work through everything that threatens to keep them from finally enjoying the relationship they are destined to have? Or will Hunter's ex-wife and his evil neighbor and member of the school board thwart Theda's endeavors to become a principal and ruin her in their city?

I like the storyline; however, I do not think there was enough information for readers to get a real feel for what the characters meant to each other all those years ago. There seemed to be something missing that would bring the story all together for me.

I recommend this book to those who love photography, romance and a little suspense.

5.0 out of 5 stars Stay With the One You Love, December 3, 2007
This review is from: Never Without You...Again (Kimani Romance) (Mass Market Paperback)
Our past usually drives the future that is until it confronts your present. Theda Coles was minding her own business looking forward to securing her dream job when the lover of her past moves back to town. Theda was in love with Hunter Davis and even though it's been over 15 years she still has dreams about his touch. Their paths meet again in the hallway where Theda is the assistant principal. As they visit and consider rekindling the flame, their lives come under attack. Theda and Hunter must decide if their love is worth losing what they spent a lifetime to build.

Theda and Hunter's relationship tackles real life issues of blended families, forgiveness and the importance of open and honest communication. The supporting characters add flavor and believability to this tale of recognizing your true love. NEVER WITHOUT YOU AGAIN will give you a fast paced read while igniting your fire for love. Craft does incorporate characters from previous novels but this is a stand alone book.

1.0 out of 5 stars An Awful Read, December 13, 2007
This review is from: Never Without You...Again (Kimani Romance) (Mass Market Paperback)
I am trying desperately to get through with this book. Obviously, Ms. Craft has not read the likes of Beverly Jenkins, Rochelle Alers, or Brenda Jackson. Ms. Craft does not transition into her scenes well at all. She jumps her scenes so much and she doesn't build up to what is coming next. Theada and Hunter went from sleeping together to having keys to each other's home. When did all that take place?

I'm sorry, but this book really sucks. The only thing that keeps me reading it is I want to find out what is the big secret Hunter did to his ex-wife Helena. I will not read any more of this author's books. It only takes one bad read to turn me off.

4.0 out of 5 stars Interesting, October 27, 2007
This review is from: Never Without You...Again (Kimani Romance) (Mass Market Paperback)
Theda Coles and Hunter Davis were college sweethearts and soon to be married but without explanation Hunter broke off the engagement. Brokenhearted and left to pick up the pieces Theda eventually got married to another man. Hunter as well moves on, gets married and has a son. Tragedy isn't far from them and leads them back together. Hunter who is now single moves back to Crystal Lake with hopes of rekindling the passion with Theda. Theda currently single as well has being trying to maintain a positive reputation in Crystal Lake because she is in hopes of replacing the principal at Harney high. Both struggle to push the pain aside and love again but is it really possible?

I thought that the idea of the book was really good, I enjoyed traveling through the book as Theda and Hunter tried to rekindle their love. I thought the characters were well developed. However, I felt that the emotions were rushed and not completely displayed. You would think that if a man broke your engagement and left you high and dry, when you see him you would have anger or resentment. I didn't feel any of that. I did however feel I was in more a elementary cat and mouse love game. I just wanted to say move on ahead and take that next step already! Also, the dialogue at times was a little over the top. However, this was a good read all and I would definitely read more books by Mrs. Craft! I recommend this book to anyone who loves a good romance novel.
