This is my favourite original The Mission Uk album. It's one of that albuns that you press play and you listen to all of the tracks. No week songs in this album, with the exception of Celebration. Raising Cain, Lose Myself In You, Afterglow, Neverland and Daddy's going to heaven now are simply masterpieces. Maybe you'll not see all the genial music that Wayne Hussey composed at the first time. But as you listen to it several times, you'll find something new that will keep you on wanting to listen to it more and more. Just perfect.

Some of the fans who felt let down by "Masque" regarded "Neverland" as a return to form - on the other hand, if you appreciated "Masque"'s attempts at musical diversity, you may find this to be a slight let down, a return to the Mission's modus operandi of similar-sounding jangly guitar riffs and lots of "references to" (i.e thefts from) old rock classics.
In fact this album marks the point where the Mission became difficult to take seriously as a band because of their plagiarism habit (anticipating Oasis in that regard). Time and again Wayne Hussey returns to his favorite Led Zep formula (i.e things that sound like `Kashmir'); `Celebration' is also a Led Zep reference (to the third album, of course). `Cry Like A Baby' is indebted to Bowie's `Cracked Actor'. `Swoon' alludes to Bowie and the Cure whilst continuing Hussey's series of similar-sounding "sex songs". `Heaven Knows' really takes the biscuit - it IS the Cure's `Pictures Of You', with different words.
The fact that he was singing better than ever and that it all sounds nice while it's playing really doesn't excuse such unoriginality.

The product offered and purchased meets all expectations. Amazon and it's great vendors offer hard to find music every time, they can't be beat. Thanks

Great Album ! creative but not as strong as the 1st three albums " God own medicine" Children and Carved in sand.

Tim Palmer the ex producer of the first mission Albums helped Hussey a lot in giving his /their songs the Goth feel

while John paul Jones in Children gave Hussey the Led zepplin feel

In neverland Hussey without any production support made a great Job ! Mission Fans will certainly enjoy songs as Swoon , Neverland , Swim with the dolphines and daddy going to heaven now--if ur a mission Fan u will certainly love bands as Muse , U2 , All about eve , the jesus and mary chain and the Sisters of mercy
